There is a high turnover rate and insufficient labor supply in the traditional construction industry in China due to changes in China’s economic situation and the age structure of the main players in the labor market,this conflicts with the still rising labor demand in the industry.However,there is a lack of research on domestic construction enterprises during their growth period in current labor relations theory.This article has important theoretical and practical significance in studying the issue of employee turnover in construction enterprises that are developing rapidly during their growth period,providing useful reference for the stable development of the construction industry.This article is written by combining an examination of the prevailing economic landscape,the evolving trajectory of national regulatory policies,and projected development plans,using a comprehensive approach that integrates literature analysis,questionnaires,and personal interviews to identify the factors contributing to the high turnover rate of AY company.The principal objective of this study is to provide solutions and recommendations aimed at alleviating the issue of inadequate labor supply arising from AY’s current phase of heightened development and high turnover rate.The present study draws the following conclusions:(1)Employees at AY Company confront several issues such as insufficient sense of achievement,limited development opportunities,poor working environment,long commuting distance,and disproportionate salary and labor input,which lead to a dearth of psychological satisfaction among them.(2)The personal requirements of employees and the developmental requisites of the company are often at odds.(3)Analysis of the research data reveals that employee turnover is primarily influenced by three factors:internal organizational matters,external environmental factors,and individual demands.To address the issue of high employee turnover at AY Company,this paper proposes a program for reducing employee turnover from five perspectives: enhancing employee relationship management,improving the working environment,elevating employee compensation and benefits,strengthening employee career planning,and promoting work-life balance.
