Children with autism often suffer from communication difficulties,delayed language development,too little social interaction and uneven cognitive development.Currently,there is no effective medication available.Children with autism are mainly rehabilitated through indoor institutions,but the indoor environment is homogeneous,the space is limited and the training is boring.Virtual reality technology is immersive,multi-sensory and interactive,and can create realistic and reproducible reality spaces that provide a variety of rehabilitation indoor virtual environments.However,it is worth exploring how virtual technology can be integrated into the design of indoor environments to effectively assist in the rehabilitation of children with autism.Based on this,this thesis(design)is based on a "theory-experiment-design proposal" approach,which focuses on the following three aspects of virtual space design for the rehabilitation of children with autism.I.Theoretical research.The theoretical research is based on a review of virtual environments for the rehabilitation of children with autism at home and abroad,in order to understand the application of virtual technology in the rehabilitation of children with autism and to summarise the design concepts of indoor perceptual and interactive environments.Further field research on the indoor environments of rehabilitation institutions for children with autism is conducted to analyse the design requirements of indoor virtual environments for children with autism.II.Experimental research.Experiment with virtual reality technology to experiment with virtual indoor perception and virtual indoor interactive scenes based on this,and use the virtual experiment to evaluate the results of the design solutions,select the best optimised design solution,and further optimise the design of indoor perception scenes to find the best virtual indoor perception scenes.Innovative design solutions.Third,the indoor environment design scheme.On the basis of the above experiments,using the principles of interior design and the design concept of rehabilitation interior space environment,the visual,auditory,and interactive virtual technology scenarios favoured by autistic children are applied in the scheme,and the whole interior scheme(including visual area design,auditory area design,interactive area design,tactile area design,olfactory area design and other auxiliary nodes design)is designed based on this.This thesis uses virtual reality technology to explore the elements of the interior environment preferred by children with autism,the perceptual areas and the interactive environment,and to design a virtual interior space based on the perceptual and interactive experience,in the hope of designing a virtual interior environment that is conducive to the rehabilitation of children with autism. |
