Picture books are the earliest contact with children’s graphic books,as the "first book of life",play an important role in children’s life and education.Due to the rapid development of digital information technology,electronic picture books came into being and innovated on the basis of traditional picture books,developing from pure graphic forms to multimedia interactive and all-round sensory experience,which is loved by more people.In recent years,the incidents of child sexual abuse have aroused public attention to children’s sex education,and the research and development of children’s sex education textbooks and sex education picture books cannot be delayed.At present,the number of children’s sex education picture books on the market is not much,most of the excellent children’s sex education picture books are imported by foreign translators,and the forms are diversified,and the domestic original picture book design cannot keep up with the pace of the times.As a new form of picture book,electronic picture books for children’s sex education are even less common.Therefore,how to design a children’s sex education picture book that is more in line with the aesthetics and cognition of Chinese children,and make it scientific and interesting,and how to teach sex education theory in a graphical and digital way,so that children can easily learn sexual knowledge in a scientific way,has become an urgent problem to be solved.This paper first adopts the method of literature collection and study,briefly sorts out the relevant theories of children’s sex education and electronic picture books,summarizes the unique artistic characteristics of electronic picture books,and proves the feasibility of electronic picture book application and children’s sex education.Secondly,the survey method is used to analyze the advantages and current situation of children’s sex education electronic picture books,which further demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of electronic picture book applications and children’s sex education.Then,the case analysis method is used to conduct a case analysis of the existing children’s sex education electronic picture book,summarize the problems existing in the design process,and put forward innovative,interesting and interactive design principles for the existing problems.At the same time,combined with the development trend of human-computer interaction technology in the field of reading,it explores more possibilities in the design of electronic picture books for children’s sex education in the new era.Finally,on the basis of the theoretical research in the previous chapters,the design practice of electronic picture books for children’s sex education is carried out to prove the practical value of theoretical research.Electronic picture books that conform to children’s cognition and aesthetics and conform to the laws of children’s sexual development play an important role in children’s sex education,but their specific applied theoretical exploration has not yet taken shape,and there is a lack of more systematic and theoretical discussions.This paper discusses from theory and practice,hoping to make up for this theoretical gap to put forward their own suggestions,but also hope that through the organic combination of children’s sex education knowledge and electronic picture books,children can learn boring sex education knowledge in a more relaxed and happier way,so that children can get better sex education.
