As an important part of rural society in China,traditional villages and towns are not only important carriers of many excellent traditional cultures,but also precious wisdom crystallization in the long history of the Chinese nation.Due to the special geographical location and historical background,the traditional villages and towns in the mountainous areas of western Zhejiang have diverse regional cultural characteristics and rich material and cultural relics.However,under the disorderly development of early rapid urbanization,it has had a serious impact on its social spatial order,especially breaking the endogenous development model of villagers’ standard,resulting in cracks in social relations and increasingly weak vitality of settlement space.In view of this,this paper chooses Nianbadu ancient town,a typical representative of traditional villages and towns in western Zhejiang mountainous area,as the research object,and constructs a research scheme based on social network perspective and related theoretical methods,trying to analyze the specific characteristics of the public space of the ancient town from the level of material space and behavioral demand,so as to put forward more targeted optimization strategies.The main research results are as follows:Physical space level.(1)Based on the "spatial distance relation",a spatial network model is constructed to analyze the spatial characteristics of matter.Among them,the "faction" index presents a group distribution pattern of "two cores,one pair and two assistants" in public space;The index of "K-kernel and tangent point" reflects that the spatial network structure is relatively stable,but the index of "density,central potential and degree centrality" shows that the overall completeness and hierarchy of the spatial network are poor,and there is some room for optimization.(2)Based on the specific meaning of social network indicators and the present situation of public space,it is concluded that the linear layout structure is the main reason for the above characteristics,and such layouts are generally stable but not tight,with a single sense of hierarchy and poor recognition.(3)Based on the perspective of spatial network,combined with the analysis results of material spatial characteristics,an optimization system with the paths of "selection and preparation of core nodes","selection and activation of spare space" and "dredging and combing of road system" was put forward,and the relevant indicators of the optimized social network were significantly improved,effectively making up for the defects of the original layout structure.Behavioral demand level.(1)Based on the "behavior path relationship",a behavior network model is constructed to analyze the spatial behavior characteristics.Among them,the index of "density and K-core" reflects that there are many isolated spaces with low vitality in ancient towns,indicating that there is a gap between the construction of public spaces and the actual needs of villagers;The index of "central potential and faction" shows that the crowd activities have obvious agglomeration,mainly concentrated in Xunli ancient street,Laojiangpu highway,Xinjie street and their extension lines with good spatial construction;The index of "degree centrality and tangent point" reflects that large-scale functional space and transportation hub space are the key spaces to promote villagers’ social communication in ancient towns.(2)Through correlation analysis,it is found that "entrance width,shelter area and number of facilities" are the main factors that affect villagers’ space choice,while "functional complexity,quality of facilities,road grade and road quality" are the secondary factors.(3)Based on the above analysis results,it is concluded that there is a significant binary interaction between "space-behavior",which is embodied in that "behavior" maps the advantages and disadvantages of "space" and can actively shape the space."Space" can induce "behavior",and the relevant influencing factors are the key direction of space shaping.(4)Based on the perspective of behavioral network,combined with the analysis results of spatial behavior characteristics,this paper puts forward specific optimization schemes for the public space of ancient town from three aspects: coordination and balance of blocks,improvement and guidance of behavior path,and identification and optimization of key space and isolated space,so as to improve and upgrade the space of ancient town under the premise of fully considering the actual needs of villagers. |
