As one of the core components of the electric vehicle power system,the Battery Management System(BMS)plays a crucial role in energy management and status monitoring of power batteries.With the rapid development of BMS,comprehensive and efficient testing around the BMS is very important for current research on power battery management systems.In response to the testing requirements of the BMS,a test platform for the BMS is developed,supported by the key industry innovation chain project of Shaanxi Provincial Key R&D Program(2019ZDLGY15-04-02).The specific research content of this paper is as follows:(1)This article studied and summarized the main functions of the BMS,analyzed the hardware and software architecture of the BMS,summarized the testing requirements of the BMS,and analyzed the existing problems in current BMS testing.Based on the above research and analysis results,a BMS testing system was designed.This testing system includes safety protection function testing,data communication function testing,parameter acquisition function testing,state estimation function testing,energy management function testing,and switch IO function testing of the BMS.(2)A BMS test platform was designed and implemented to meet the testing requirements of the BMS.The test platform can simulate various analog and digital signals required during the BMS testing process and realize real-time storage of battery parameter simulation and test data.Based on battery operating condition experimental data,functional units of the test platform were configured to dynamically simulate battery parameters required during the BMS testing process,and then the state estimation and energy balance testing of the BMS are completed.(3)A verification experiment platform was set up to calibrate and test the functional units of the BMS test platform and verify the output accuracy of the test platform.The functional experiments of the test platform developed in this paper are conducted using a laboratory sample BMS,and then,the feasibility of the platform was verified.Based on the data obtained from the functional experiments,combined with national standards and indicators related to battery management systems,the functionality of the tested battery management system was evaluated. |
