Battery Management System(BMS)as the electric vehicle battery system "brain",it plays an important role in the electric vehicle safe operation,recharge mileage and life,so many domestic and foreign universities and Enterprises and research institutes take a long term research on the battery management technology,and a large number of research results have been applied to electric vehicles.China’s battery management system industry has begun to take shape.With the arrival of the battery management system industry,its necessary to take a rigorous test before it put into practical.In this paper,it take the electric car battery management system test platform as the research object.Under a detail understanding about the battery management system,it develope the hardware implementation program of battery management system the test platform.The test platform adopts the master-slave design structure,which covers the controller area network(CAN)communication unit,the single voltage simulation unit,the temperature simulation unit,the total voltage simulation unit,the total current simulation unit,the insulation resistance simulation unit,Detection unit.In hardware aspects: This article give a detailed description on design of the hardware unit,circuit schematics,printed circuit board of the test platform.In hardware aspects: This paper develope a detailed communication protocol between the host computer and the underlying hardware,and analyze the software framework and the concrete realization process and the code of the chip in each test unit.The human interface selecte LabWindows / CVI development platform,and it introduces the basic design process and the core technical difficulties and the computer interface.Finally,the paper give the detailed calibration and testing process of the test platform.The calibration test data show that each hardware unit of the test platform has high output precision and the output is stable.The test data of the BMS verifies thefunction of the test platform.At the end,It point out the shortcomings of the test platform,and give the recommendations for improvement.
