| Urban renewal has undergone a transformation, with the mission and objective of urban renewal evolving and being repeated. The approach to urban renewal has shifted from extensive renovation to more intricate spatial construction.New development ideas and trends are driving the revival of public areas in older cities, while the revival of microspaces is also in full swing. However, even if the complex problems in community microspace are solved through multi-dimensional measures, the evaluation of its effectiveness after implementation lacks scale and measure.Constructing a community microspace renewal evaluation system, quantifying it with multi-source data, and providing the theoretical basis for design optimization and implementation management, this paper takes the dongtai old city of jiangsu province as its research object. In order to construct the community microspatial update evaluation index system, and determine its weighting method and data quantization.A comparison and analysis of mature evaluation systems such as urban public space and urban community public space, along with their evaluation indexes cross-refined,is conducted in this paper.Furthermore, the related theoretical research is examined.By employing the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),a hierarchical model is constructed, and the ultimate community microspatial update evaluation model is created by combining Delphi expert consultation technique to generate the weight of evaluation index. On this basis,we obtained the data needed for each evaluation index through four types of data, including social survey data, government data,matter-link perception data, and social perception data.In combination with anaconda, pycharm, depthmap and other software-assisted analysis and processing data,we quantified 25 indicators in the range of 0 to 5 to facilitate the integration of the final data. The final model shows that:1)the population activity of the site, the external image of the display space and the sustainability of the activities of the site population are the most important of the various indicators, indicating that community microspatial transformation must attach importance to the construction of the activity space and enhance the spatial image of the area;2)The density of the slow walk, the weight of the people’s cooperative sharing and the green space ratio are the lowest, which means that some traditional public space evaluation indexes have relatively low influence due to the physical properties such as community microspatial scale. To further explore the impact of various evaluation indicators on community microspace updates and propose design optimization strategies.Firstly,Haixin Amusement Park and Fun Park were selected as the comparative research objects before and after the update.A thorough examination of the quantification procedure was conducted, the viability of the evaluation quantification system was confirmed, and the evaluation outcomes prior to and following the renovation were compared and scrutinized.Secondly, based on the renovation practice of 9 community micro spaces in the old urban area of Dongtai, through horizontal comparison after the renovation of 9 community micro spaces, the impact and guiding significance of various levels and evaluation indicators on community micro space renovation are summarized and summarized. The results indicate that:1)Among the eight evaluation levels, the larger the proportion of community micro space paving areas such as community squares and sports spaces, the lower the corresponding score of community spatial feature level. The characteristics of community space do not have a decisive role in evaluating the quality of community microspace updates,so their overall weight is not high and will not have a significant impact on the final evaluation score due to the type of space. The higher the score of space reachability level, the more transparent the site will be,and the more people will be potentially attracted. The higher the score of spatial resources and low-carbon environmental protection level in community microspaces, the better the ecological environment of the site, and the more environmentally friendly it is.The higher the scores related to spatial perception and aesthetic hierarchy, the more suitable it is for the needs of the venue population, and the more in line with the temperament of the surrounding environment of the venue. The level of spatial activities is weakly related to the size of the site and strongly related to the reachability of the location. The higher the score, the higher the number of users per unit, and the smaller the fluctuation of the number of users in each period. The higher the score of spatial guidance, the stronger its regional identity and recognition by surrounding residents;2)Starting from 8 evaluation levels, propose optimization strategies and design methods for the overall layout of community micro spaces that are conducive to the spatiotemporal aggregation, diversity, and stability of activities;3)In the evaluation indicators, the location reachability does not have any guiding significance before and after the micro space transformation of the same community, but it is very important to compare different sites. The activity of people, space openness and diversity of space activities are related to the spatial scale. The full text constructs a relatively systematic and complete research approach and framework, using 9 community microspaces in the central urban area of Dongtai as samples, and starting from their spatial form, activity characteristics, and social impact, explores the impact of various influencing factors on community microspaces before and after renovation, proposes optimization strategies for community microspaces, and explores new ideas for community microspaces in terms of methods, strategies, and technical routes. |
