Research On The Design Method Of Traditional Residential Accommodation Renovation In Western Henan

With the improvement of people’s living standards and spiritual and cultural needs,the tourism industry has developed rapidly and presented a diversified development trend.Among them,rural homestays have become an important type,and various homestays with regional characteristics have been developed throughout the country.In recent years,the development of homestays in Henan has been on the rise,but due to the lack of relevant scientific methods to guide,many traditional residential buildings cannot meet the needs of tourists after renovation.This article takes the renovation of homestays from traditional dwellings in the western region of Henan as the research object,summarizes the types of traditional dwellings with regional characteristics in the western region,explores the design principles of the renovation of traditional dwellings in the western region,as well as the renovation design methods of courtyard style traditional dwellings and cave dwelling style traditional dwellings.A systematic summary of the methods of traditional residential accommodation in the western Henan region provides practical guidance for villages that focus on developing tourism.The full text is divided into five parts.Firstly,based on in-depth research on the background of the topic,the historical background,relevant literature at home and abroad,and research trends of the topic are sorted out,laying a certain theoretical foundation for this paper.Secondly,based on the analysis of the natural environment and social and cultural environment in the western region of Henan,extensive research was conducted on traditional villages and dwellings in the region,and a typological study was conducted on traditional villages and dwellings based on terrain,landforms,and residential forms.Thirdly,On this basis,combined with excellent domestic homestay cases and representative renovated homestays in the western region of Henan,the advantages of domestic excellent homestays were summarized and analyzed,and the problems of renovated homestays in the western region of Henan were identified.Fourthly,research on the methods of traditional residential transformation in the western Henan region.Firstly,the overall principles for the transformation of homestays are proposed,and then combined with the types of traditional dwellings in the western region of Henan,the transformation methods for courtyard style homestays in the western region of Henan are proposed from the aspects of site selection,functional reshaping of courtyards,resetting of architectural functions,reconstruction of indoor spaces,streamline transformation,renovation of walkways and stairs,renovation of frames and roofs,and creation of homestay atmosphere;Propose methods for the renovation of cave dwelling traditional residential buildings in the western Henan region from the aspects of site selection,new courtyards,functional replacement and addition,space reconstruction,streamline renovation,soil wall reinforcement and restoration,and the creation of a homestay atmosphere.Fifthly,select typical traditional residential buildings in the western region of Henan Province for homestay transformation practice,and verify the methods of transforming traditional residential buildings into homestays from courtyard style and cave dwelling style from several aspects such as homestay site selection,courtyard environment improvement,functional addition and replacement,internal space optimization,streamline optimization,architectural technology,and homestay style.
