The Study Of Resort Hotel Renovated By Traditional Residence In The Jiangnan Region

Thanks to the increase of social wealth and the improvement of consumption level in our country as well as the change of travel patterns, people are no longer confined to travel in "scenic sightseeing type", instead, they begin to be attracted by the ancient villages and towns which are equipped with more beautiful natural sceneries so as to feel the traditional culture and experience the traditional way of life. Therefore, to a certain extent, this promotes the development of Resort Hotel Renovated by Traditional Residence in our country. The emergence of the Resort Hotel Renovated by Traditional Residence, on the one hand, makes the abundant traditional residences which are difficult to be protected in static state in our country to acquire sustainable development; on the other hand, it provide visitors with a place to individually experience regional customs and carefree lifestyle.At present, there is less theory study for Resort Hotel Renovated by Traditional Residence in domestic, but there are a great many practice cases. Furthermore, this paper summarizes and discusses the common design strategy of Resort Hotel Renovated by Traditional Residence from following aspects of the general principles of transformation, and traditional residence value judgment, prophase planning, layout, structure update, interior decoration and the late operation and so on, which is by means of combining with the research results. Finally, basing on the investigation and study analysis, this thesis puts emphasis on analyzing three cases of Suzhou Blossom Hill Mansion, Wuyuan ShangYiXuan Collection Hall, Shaoxing Dayu Tang from following aspects of location interpretation, history value evaluation, preliminary planning and positioning, overall plane layout, entrance design, public space design, room design and so on.This thesis is divided into six parts: the first part is about theoretical research, which mainly discusses the background of thesis and clears the research object, research content, research purpose and research significance. The second summarizes development traceability and basic types of the Resort Hotel Renovated by Traditional Residence. The third part discusses common problems of the Resort Hotel Renovated by Traditional Residence in reconstruction design by means of combining the author’s field investigation. The fourth part focuses on elaborating the design strategy of the Resort Hotel Renovated by Traditional in Jiangnan areas by summarizing the reconstruction experience of the hotel. The fifth part is the analysis of typical case, which analyzes three cases of Suzhou Blossom Hill Mansion, Wuyuan ShangYiXuan Collection Hall, Shaoxing Dayu Tang. The sixth part refers to summary and outlook.
