| Historic buildings have witnessed the development and changes of a city,and as a memory accumulation and cultural carrier of the physical form of the city,they have become an indispensable part of the city’s characteristic culture.Nowadays,while urban construction activities are developing,China also pays attention to the protection and revitalization of historical buildings.Hancheng,the second batch of national historical and cultural cities,has an intact urban pattern and a well-preserved landscape,with a large number of historical buildings remaining in the old city.With the rapid development of urbanization and the transformation of social structure,the use of historic buildings in Hancheng has begun to weaken and the vitality of the buildings has gradually decreased.How to protect the traditional appearance and historical and cultural values of historical buildings,while activating the vitality of historical buildings and promoting their development together with the modernization of the city,has become an urgent research issue.Based on this,this paper takes the listed historical buildings in Xuexiang in the ancient city of Hancheng as the research object.Firstly,we define the theoretical concepts involved in the study through literature research,and clarify the basic theories of architectural heritage revitalization and utilization to provide a theoretical basis for the later study.Secondly,we analyzed the geographical location,natural environment,history and humanities of the ancient city,sorted out the street pattern composition and the evolution of the street texture,and conducted a preliminary basic research on the distribution of the ancient city’s historical buildings,building types and construction dates.Then,through field research on the ten listed historical buildings and the spatial environment of the lanes,we found that the historical buildings have problems such as functional decay,poor environment and hidden values,and assessed the values and development environment of the historical buildings to provide a basis for value judgment for the revitalization and utilization strategy.Finally,from the perspective of combining architecture and urban design,the revitalization and utilization strategy of the historic buildings in Xuexiang is explored.With the development of the overall linear space as the goal,the revitalization and utilization strategy of the historic buildings in Xuexiang is proposed from four aspects: material function,environmental function,cultural function and social function of the historic buildings.Through the replacement of architectural functions,the renewal of spatial environment,the continuation of cultural veins and the participation of various parties in society,the means of revitalization and utilization of historical buildings are enhanced at multiple levels,and the specific measures of revitalization and utilization are elaborated.This paper hopes to make some expansions on the revitalization and utilization of historical buildings in ancient cities,to make some help for the practice of revitalization and utilization of historical buildings in Xue Xiang,and to provide reference opinions for historical buildings in the same type of spatial environment. |
