Study On The Evolution Mechanism Of Self-built Rural Housing In Huyi District Of Xi’an

With the deepening of the new rural construction and the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,more and more attention has been paid to the countryside.Self-built rural houses are residential forms that are spontaneously organized and built by villagers and widely exist in rural areas.Under the influence of new social conditions,economic conditions,technology,materials,etc.,new residential features are gradually taking shape.It is the seemingly ordinary houses that jointly affect the rural landscape.Analyzing the evolution of the spatial characteristics of a large number of self-built rural houses,recognizing the characteristics of their evolution,and summarizing the evolution mechanism behind them are conducive to continuing the regional characteristics of rural houses,improving the living quality of villagers,and promoting the sound development of rural houses.This paper takes the self-built rural housing in Huyi District of Xi ’an as the research object,and studies from four parts.Firstly,based on the principle of extensive and diverse research,nine villages were visited in Huyi District.Through methods such as questionnaire survey,interviews,and photography,the current status of housing was recognized and recorded,and the samples were divided into different generations;Secondly,through summarizing and sorting out research cases,the spatial characteristics and evolution of self-built rural housing in Huyi District are analyzed from five aspects: plane form,internal space,material structure,architectural details,and construction process characteristics;Thirdly,it analyzes the evolution characteristics and influencing factors of self-built rural housing,and reveals its evolution mechanism from two aspects : the law of evolution and the dynamic mechanism of evolution.Finally,the cultural tourism industry with the characteristics of Huyi District is selected to explore the adaptive evolution and development of rural housing in the future under the influence of the industry.Through case analysis,the adaptive strategies for the future development of self-built housing under the guidance of cultural tourism are proposed from four aspects: function,structure,facade,and technology.Architects tend to pay more attention to the distinctive traditional houses,but it is easy to ignore a large number of self-built houses in ordinary villages.This paper summarizes the evolution mechanism of self-built rural houses in Huyi District,hoping to provide useful reference for future self-built rural houses,new rural construction and houses built by architects.
