| The market for landscaping is promising and the urban landscaping industry,which is dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises((hereinafter referred to as SMEs)),is growing.However,the high turnover of employees leads to an unstable human resource pool in SMEs,which has a significant impact on the company’s business management.Therefore,a comprehensive and accurate understanding of employee turnover trends and its influencing factors in small and medium-sized landscaping companies in China can promote the establishment of effective human resource management systems by company management,reduce human resource costs and operating costs,and improve the company’s talent competitiveness.As a private landscape company in a third-tier city,DH Landscaping faces the same dilemma of employee turnover as other companies of its type in the industry.In particular,the outflow of skilled employees has directly led to the continuous shrinking of market share.How to retain skilled employees has become an important factor for the stable development of the company.This paper mainly takes DH Landscaping Company as the background,based on the separation study and human resource related theories,and analyzes the organizational structure and human resource structure of DH Landscaping Company.Based on the factors influencing separation in Price-Mueller(2000)separation model,the paper uses in-depth interviews and questionnaires and SPSS statistical analysis software to conduct descriptive statistical analysis on the sample data,pointing out that six factors,namely,compensation mechanism,welfare benefits,performance appraisal,training mechanism,promotion factors,and personal development,have significant effects on the separation behavior of skilled employees.Based on the theory of human resource management,we propose coping strategies and corresponding safeguards for the departure of skilled employees,starting from improving the organizational system and paying attention to employees’ personal needs.This paper hopes that this study can effectively reduce the active turnover rate of skilled employees in DH landscaping company,strengthen the internal development momentum of the company,and promote the sustainable development of DH landscaping company.At the same time,the author hopes to combine MBA theoretical knowledge and work experience to provide reference for the skilled employees management aspects of the same type of enterprises. |
