| Urban development has shifted an extensive and incremental era to an era of urban renewal that emphasizes quality. In this new era, historical and cultural neighborhoods play a special role in the development of the city as an important engine for urban development, historical and cultural neighborhoods with a high level of sustainable development are of great significance to urban development,Therefore, the sustainable development of historical and cultural neighborhoods has become particularly important as an important part of urban renewal. However, the sustainability of historical and cultural neighborhood renewal projects is currently facing some obstacles, such as the gradual disappearance of culture and the disruption of social networks. In addition, there is a lack of research on whether the renewal of neighborhoods is sustainable.Against this background, this paper takes a government perspective to study the sustainability evaluation of historical and cultural neighborhood renewal projects.Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems of the sustainability of historical and cultural neighborhood renewal projects, this paper first combines literature analysis and questionnaire survey methods to construct an evaluation indicator system. Then, the G1 method and entropy weight method are used to combine and assign weights to the indicators, and the improved matter-element extension method is used to establish a sustainability evaluation model for historical and cultural neighborhood renewal projects. Finally, the evaluation model is applied to practical cases, and countermeasures and suggestions are proposed based on the evaluation results to verify the rationality of the evaluation indicators and the feasibility of the evaluation model.Through this study, the following results were obtained:(1)A targeted post-evaluation index system for the sustainability of historic and cultural district renewal projects is constructed, which includes five dimensions of environmental sustainability, social sustainability, cultural sustainability, operational management sustainability, economic sustainability and 28 indicators under these dimensions.(2)The weights of the indicators calculated by the G1 method and entropy weight method were determined, and a sustainability evaluation model for historical and cultural neighborhood renewal projects based on the improved matter-element extension method was established.(3)The application of the established sustainability post-evaluation model of historical and cultural district renewal project in practical cases and the comparison between the improved matter element extension method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method prove the feasibility and superiority of the evaluation model studied in this paper. |
