City residential area green space is urban residents daily life environment,due to the complex residential population structure,and the rate of urbanization development too fast and ignore the quality of the construction of residential area green space,the residential area green space design cannot meet the daily needs of residents,therefore,in this thesis,based on the age of green design,residential area and the related research.First for residential areas and elaborates the concept of school-age,will break the crowd generally referred to as the elderly,children,by age and physical condition,subdivided into infants,children,teenagers,middle-aged and young,middle-aged and young man,older man,old man longevity eight small classes,and from the perspective of each kind of crowd,summarized its physiological and psychological characteristics,Summarize the design strategy and method of corresponding population.Secondly,for the design project,the hierarchical analysis model is constructed,and the importance of each index of residential area transformation is ranked by experts,so as to grasp the main contradiction in the design.After that,the residential area standard of Yihe Homeland Phase I is determined as "general" by the residents’ scoring.The population structure,activity time,activity preference and current situation of the target population within the project are investigated,and the ideas and strategies of landscape design of age-appropriate residential area are obtained by specific analysis combined with successful cases.Finally,the first phase of Yihe home residential area transformation design.The design theme of "Datong Qingcheng Residence,Avenue Yi Hele" has been determined,and eleven sub-themes have been set up under the general theme.The age-appropriate design method with dual axis running through the whole residential area and combination of soft and hard is determined.According to the ideas and strategies proposed in the early stage,the age-appropriate design is carried out for each functional area,and the residential green space is endowed with different meanings for each age group.At the same time,the plant landscape and hard space are integrated to ensure that every resident can have their own satisfactory activity space in the transformed residential area.In the design process,the lighting,sketches,pavement and other humanized transformation.
