Research On The Application Of Health And Activation Of Traditional Village As Exemplified In Jinxi County,Jiangxi Province

With the continuous aging of the population in China,the enormous demand for elderly care has become a prominent social problem.Owing to the uneven allocation of resources,the challenges associated with elderly care in rural areas have become increasingly pressing.Moreover,as urbanization continues to accelerate,traditional villages are confronted with the obstacles of homogenization and aging.The physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly require a quieter,more comfortable,and relaxed environment to meet their daily needs,which is not always compatible with the fast-paced lifestyle and environmental pollution of cities.Therefore,more and more elderly people are seeking opportunities to retire and vacation in rural areas.In the context of promoting rural revitalization,the revitalization of traditional villages through elderly care activities provides guidance and impetus for rural revitalization and wellness tourism development.This study conducts a field investigation and literature review to analyze the basic profile and regional characteristics of four traditional villages in Jinxi County.The main issues related to the current state and revitalization of traditional villages are also identified and summarized.Based on the compiled research data,the paper proposes principles and strategies suitable for the design of wellness activities in traditional villages in Jinxi County,Offering a novel approach and a promising methodology for the preservation and revitalization design of traditional villages.The initial segment of this paper elucidates the research context,research subjects and scope,and research aims and significance,proposing the research content,research methods,and technical approach of the paper,followed by a review of pertinent theories and research on the present state of elderly care and village revitalization,constructing the interrelation between elderly care and traditional village revitalization.The second part conducts a basic study on four traditional villages in Jinxi County with transportation advantages,comparing and analyzing their regional characteristics and development models,extracting their elderly care value and main problems.A detailed analysis of the whole Fang village is then carried out,summarizing and classifying traditional residences based on their appearance,space,materials,and decoration,and conducting research around their use status and traditional features.Demand analysis of different users is then performed to analyze space,behavior,and supporting facility needs.The third section presents and synthesizes the measures aimed at promoting well-being and rejuvenation,fostering the sustainable development of conventional villages,and undertaking empirical research.Drawing upon on-site investigations and compiled research findings,this section provides a comprehensive analysis of the current status and primary challenges confronting traditional villages,and distills a set of guiding principles and strategies for promoting wellness and rejuvenation in response to these issues.Specific design strategies with certain universality are proposed from the aspects of Early development,overall activation,public space health activation,and architectural space health activation.Finally,the proposed strategies are put into practical research,using the whole Fang village as an example to plan and carry out wellness and revitalization activities,verifying and improving the design strategies proposed in the previous chapter.The renovation not only improved the living environment but also met the modern lifestyle needs of residents,provided high-quality elderly care environment for the elderly,attracted vitality,and promoted rural revitalization.
