| Constructing a fast and efficient modern comprehensive transportation system that connects internally and externally is an important part of the systematic project for the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.The "National Comprehensive Three-Dimensional Transportation Network Planning Outline" clearly defines the task of building an integrated comprehensive transportation system,emphasizing the orientation of overall planning and integration,focusing on making up for shortcomings,emphasizing connections,optimizing networks,and improving efficiency.Pay more attention to the optimized utilization of stock resources and the improvement of the quality of incremental supply.This paper constructs a systematic performance evaluation index system for the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and measures the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.Analyze the main problems and shortcomings of the comprehensive transportation system in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle,and propose scientific and effective efficiency improvement paths and policy combinations.Helping the Chengdu-Chongqing region’s economic circle in two cities to build a solid foundation for the economic cycle.Provide reliable and operable working ideas and decision-making references for the construction of a modern comprehensive transportation system in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.Firstly,based on a review of domestic and foreign research,this study clarifies that the comprehensive transportation system consists of a traffic infrastructure system and a transportation system.It outlines the relevant research on the efficiency of the comprehensive transportation system,determines the main research direction,and analyzes the overview of the transportation system in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle,providing theoretical and practical foundations for the subsequent analysis.Secondly,the original data on the comprehensive transportation system in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is collected and processed,and the operational scale of the transportation system and output data of the transportation industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle from 2010 to 2020 are analyzed.Combining the concept of efficiency and related research on the comprehensive transportation system,this study uses the entropy weight-gray correlation degree model to analyze the efficiency of the four transportation modes in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle’s comprehensive transportation system for passenger and freight transportation.The results show that in terms of passenger transportation,railway transportation and air transportation are more efficient,while waterway transportation and road transportation are less efficient.In terms of freight transportation,waterway transportation and road transportation are more efficient,while railway transportation and air transportation are less efficient.Thirdly,based on the data and model from the previous sections,this study calculates the efficiency of the comprehensive transportation system in 30 provincial-level cities in China,divided into three regions: eastern,western,and central regions.The average efficiency of freight and passenger transportation in the three regions is compared with that of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.The results show that the efficiency of freight transportation in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is relatively low compared to the average of the three regions.In terms of passenger transportation efficiency,the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is higher than the average of the three regions,and the efficiency of the comprehensive transportation system in recent years has shown an upward trend.Among the four transportation modes in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle,only air transportation has a higher mean efficiency impact value than the three regions,while the mean efficiency impact value of the other three transportation modes is relatively low.Finally,based on the research results,this study analyzes the problems in the development and construction of the comprehensive transportation system in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle,mainly including an unreasonable transportation structure,uneven development of traffic infrastructure,and low transportation efficiency.Corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for the above problems,providing reliable and practical work and decision-making guidelines for the modernization of the comprehensive transportation system in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and the establishment of a solid economic foundation. |
