Research On Design Considerations Of Korean-Chinese Cultural Theme Restaurant

With the rapid development of China’s tourism economy,the development trend of the in-depth combination of culture and tourism has gradually emerged,and the country has put forward the development policy of shaping tourism with culture and manifesting culture with tourism.Currently,along with the advent of the post-epidemic era,the cultural tourism economy has reappeared in people’s lives in an active manner.As an important industry in the tourism economy,theme restaurants have received more attention and attention for their unique service attributes and the special combination with culture.Along with people’s gradually increasing spiritual and cultural needs,the design of theme restaurant space has also been given higher expectations.Korean culture,as an outstanding minority culture in China,has distinctive ethnic uniqueness,and the Korean culture has been inherited to this day with rich and diverse contents.At the present stage,domestic theme restaurants have a slightly ambiguous cultural connotation,insufficient design uniqueness and less in-depth cultural experience,making it difficult to meet people’s spiritual needs for culture.In this context,it is of some significance to explore the methods and strategies of presenting Korean culture in theme restaurants under the background of cultural tourism integration.This paper focuses on the theme restaurant and the inheritance and promotion of Korean culture,and analyses the cultural expression of the theme restaurant in the context of cultural tourism fusion,as a basis for proposing targeted design principles and methods.The first chapter gives an account of the background and significance of the thesis and the concept of key words.After sorting out the thesis’ research content,research framework and the study of relevant theories,the basic methodology of the study is determined.Chapters two and three are the basic research part of this paper.Chapter 2 analyses and elaborates on the current situation and problems of Korean cultural theme restaurants in the context of cultural tourism integration,while research is conducted on the population of restaurant users in the area,and the findings are studied and analysed.Two typical Korean cultural theme restaurants are analysed as case studies,and the current situation of Korean cultural theme restaurants is analysed comprehensively to draw out the design problems of existing Korean cultural theme restaurants.The third chapter firstly analyses and summarises the positive impact of the integration of culture and tourism on Korean cultural theme restaurants,followed by the enhancement of the cultural nature of the space,which requires the direction of Korean cultural elements to be cut into the categories of religious beliefs,festival customs,residential architecture,food culture and folk culture,and the cultural elements are analysed and extracted into visually presentable elements.Finally,the extracted cultural elements are simplified,displaced,changed in scale,changed in colour and changed in material,so that they can become spatial cultural elements that can be used directly in the Korean cultural theme restaurant.Chapter four conducts a study on the design strategy of the Korean cultural theme restaurant.Based on the previous research,an attempt is made to summarise a more systematic design principle and design strategy for cultural themed dining spaces in the context of cultural tourism integration.On the basis of the design principle of overall spatial unity,the expression and experience of Korean culture in the themed restaurant is analysed and explored.By compiling a combination of spatial sequences and organising spatial design elements,suggestions for spatial design strategies and industrial service systems are summarised.The fifth chapter is based on the previous research and theoretical sentence,and practical testimony is conducted in a plot of land in the Shenyang area to provide practical support for the theoretical research on the design of Korean cultural theme restaurants in the context of cultural tourism integration.
