| With the acceleration of urbanization, the improvement of people’s living and education level and the enhancement of the complexity of urban traffic environment, the travel of primary and secondary school students to and from school has been paid more and more attention. The travel of primary and secondary school students was an important part of urban residents’ commuting, and its travel time coincides with the morning and evening traffic peak, which caused great pressure to urban traffic. At the same time, because the physical and mental development of primary and secondary school students was not mature, the safety of primary and secondary school students’ learning behavior has become a topic of concern to parents and society. Therefore, this paper conducted an in-depth study on the behavior of primary and secondary school students’ choice of travel mode, revealed the influence mechanism of their choice of travel mode, and has important reference significance for optimizing the commuting structure of primary and secondary school students and improving the environment of urban primary and secondary school students’ travel mode.Based on primary and middle school students as the research object, this paper first of all,in primary and middle school students’ general studies travel behaviour in nanan distract of chongqing city as an example, combined with the RP and SP survey method, general studies on primary and secondary school students travel mode choice questionnaire survey, and through the questionnaire data analysis of primary and middle school students to learn travel characteristics and general studies transportation structure determine the scope of the study.Secondly, based on the survey data of urban primary and secondary school students’ travel to school, the influencing factors of students’ choice of travel mode to school were analyzed.Next,by analyzing the psychological needs of primary and secondary school students, the decision-making framework of travel behavior based on psychological latent variables was constructed. Then,an MIMIC model was constructed to analyze the relationship between students’ individual and family social attributes and psychological latent variables.Secondly, the learning mode of primary and secondary school students was divided into motorized mode and non-motorized mode, and the NL model of the selection of learning mode of primary and secondary school students was constructed. Then, the mixed selection model with psychological latent variables was constructed by integrating the MIMIC model and the NL model of general learning mode selection, namely ICLV model. Finally, the actual survey data were put into the model, and AMOS and Trans CAD software were used to calibrate and estimate the parameters of the model, and the influence degree of each related factor on students’ choice of learning mode was observed. After establishing the model and conducting empirical analysis,Students could know the general studies travel distance, travel time, travel cost, parents age, parents working status, family income, the students of gender, grade, the difficulty of parking around the school, the walking/biking environment of road, the escort status, the walking time outside buses at public transport stops, the waiting time of bus and the school bus,the congestion on public transport and students’ psychological preference and behavior habit for the economy, safety, convenience, comfort and reliability of transportation mode would significantly affect students’ choice of transportation mode.In short distance travel,non-motorized modes of walking, bicycle and electric vehicle have more competitive advantages than motorized modes of public transportation, and the probability of car selection was elastic to the factors of family monthly income and family ownership of car.Because the learning behavior was constrained by time, the more convenient and reliable the learning method was more likely to be chosen. |
