Research On The Design Strategy Of Community Walking System From The Perspective Of Co-creation

At the level of urban development,community walking traffic system with human scale,continuously in the large-scale urban renewal community walking road "fragmented" and "episodic" phenomenon seriously,the walking space quality is poorer,pedestrian facilities aging,and many other problems be solved.At the individual and social level,the needs of walking,as the most basic mode of travel,are not met,and people have less and less contact with their neighbors,which exacerbates social loneliness and isolation.Therefore,starting from the concept of people-oriented,this paper puts forward the design strategy of community walking system from the perspective of co-creation,aiming at improving the livability of the community.Among them,co-creation,as an innovative perspective,emphasizes that through exchanges and participation of all parties,it can not only have a bottom-up insight into residents’ walking needs,but also have a positive impact on the construction of a humanized community walking system,and stimulate and mobilize the enthusiasm and participation of community residents to promote social innovation in the community.In the research of this subject,the relevant theories of the community walking system are firstly sorted out,and based on its development history and current problems,the people-oriented design trend is summarized.Then,this paper introduces the concept of co-creation and related theories,analyzes the methods and process tools of co-creation and its involvement in the design of community walking system.Combined with the design cases of community walking system based on co-creation at home and abroad,this paper summarizes four core element levels of community walking system from the perspective of co-creation:material basis,functional scene,social interaction and community participation.In the research stage,the participatory research on the walking system of Hongqiao Airport New Village in Shanghai was conducted through environmental observation and experience,interactive exploration and resident interviews,etc.,to dig into the walking needs of residents,and to organize a co-creation workshop to summarize the key points of the design of the walking system of new village airport.Finally,combined with theoretical research and research analysis,explore the community walking system design strategy from the perspective of co-creation.Based on the residents’ walking needs excavated in the research and combined with the co-creation experience of the airport new village walking system,this paper proposes the design strategy of the community walking system at four levels from the perspective of co-creation.First,humanized community walking system material infrastructure construction strategy.It is to ensure the accessibility of walking roads and the availability of space facilities,as well as the construction of safe,convenient and barrier-free walking facilities.Second,complex and diverse community walking system functional scene construction strategy.It is an activity place that meets the walking needs of residents of all ages,a variety of community living scenes with walking as the medium,and the structure system of the community walking system.Third,inclusive and open community walking system social interaction construction strategy.That is to activate idle areas,promote the sharing of community vitality,and then create opportunities for close interaction between residents,and jointly use,manage and maintain the community walking system.Fourth,community participation promotes sustainable development strategy of community walking system.It is to explore the community culture and form a readable and perceptive spatial interface to promote continuous participation and sustainable development of the community.Strategies at different levels form a unified overall and progressive guidance scheme,which is a community walking system design strategy from the perspective of human-local construction and co-creation.In general,this project brings an innovative design and research perspective for the public space system in the community.Through the perspective of co-creation,the community walking system is designed to increase the attraction of the community and connect the relationship between people.At the same time,the combination of co-creation theory and community walking system design has enriched the application range of co-creation theory and provided reference for the subsequent research of co-creation theory.
