| The outdoor children’s activity space in the residential area is the outdoor game place where children often contact and play the most frequently.It plays an important role in children’s physical development,intellectual and personalized development and close contact with nature.This research takes the children’s activity space in residential area as the research object,under the guidance of the theory of pro biology,natural education and color theory,and with color design as the starting point,through literature research,field survey,data analysis,overall induction and other methods,it conducts in-depth research on its landscape design.The main research results are as follows:(1)Based on the biological theory and natural education theory,combined with color perception and its psychological reaction,this paper analyzes the action development,behavioral characteristics and cognitive development of children at different ages,as well as the color preference of children with different personalities.(2)The field survey and questionnaire survey were carried out for the children who are the users in the residential area to analyze the color preference of children of different ages and the different needs of children of different ages for landscape color,providing a basis for creating outdoor space color design that meets the needs of children in the residential area.(3)According to children’s color preference,following the principles of inspiration and creativity,growth and variability,as well as the principles of safety and comfort,this paper puts forward the strategy of color design of outdoor activity space in children’s residential areas,that is,to conduct color preference investigation before design;Determine the main color tone for different age segments;Coordinate the main color tone of each partition to maintain the continuity of the overall color of the site;Provide children with natural color perception space;Design various color landscape elements according to children’s color preference.(4)According to the proposed strategies and methods,the children’s playground in the Sunshine Garden in Pingdu City,Qingdao was optimized and reconstructed,and suggestions on color optimization were put forward to verify the feasibility of the design strategies and methods.This study provides a theoretical and practical reference for the color design of children’s outdoor activity space in residential areas. |
