| The aging problem in Baoji City is becoming increasingly serious, and the phenomenon of rural elderly living alone is relatively common. As a result, rural elderly care has become a prominent social issue, and the living environment in rural areas can no longer meet the needs of the elderly in the new era. Therefore,in the context of population aging, rural aging adaptation has become a problem that must be considered.Taking the rural area of Baoji City as an example, the study aims to explore methods for designing rural public spaces for the elderly, thereby creating a comfortable and safe living environment for the elderly to meet their needs. From the perspective of aging adaptability, the research explores the transformation and design methods of rural public space in Baoji area, providing theoretical contributions and empirical exploration for the transformation of ordinary villages to aging villages. To achieve this goal, first of all, conduct in-depth research on the literature on aging adaptation and public space design, analyze the theoretical progress and practical research at home and abroad, and find a starting point for the paper.Based on the comprehensive aging design theory and demand theory, taking the needs of the elderly as the starting point,a qualitative and quantitative method is adopted to conduct a survey of rural areas in Baoji City, analyze the needs of the elderly for public space, and summarize the impact factors of the elderly in public space activities.Secondly, this study uses the analytic hierarchy process to construct the evaluation system of rural public space in Baoji City, and calculates the weight ranking and satisfaction evaluation of each factor. Then, based on the evaluation results, the prominent aging issues in rural areas are summarized, and an optimization method for aging adaptation transformation in Baoji City is proposed. Finally, through an example design, the feasibility and effectiveness of rural aging design in Baoji City were further verified.Through research, the following conclusions and results are obtained:(1)The design and research of aged public space should focus on the needs of the elderly, pay attention to the comfort and convenience of the elderly, and design based on people.(2)By calculating the criterion layer of rural public space in Baoji City using the analytic hierarchy process,it is concluded that the weighted order of the criterion layer of rural public space suitable for aging is suitable for aging activity space, suitable for aging infrastructure, suitable for aging transportation space, and suitable for aging greening space.(3)Select Baoji City Material Village for design research, and design the material village public space as an environmentally comfortable aging public space using the ranking of the weight values of the AHP structural model as a reference. This study has important theoretical and practical significance. In the context of the increasingly serious aging problem, the application of Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)provides new ideas and methods for the aging adaptation of rural public spaces in Baoji City, helping to improve the quality of life of the elderly, promote sustainable social development, and create a safer and happier living environment for the elderly in rural areas. |
