| In the process of urbanization in China, there are many contradictions, such as the continuous reduction of the total amount of cultivated land and construction land extensive use. Therefore, how to promote the coordinated development of new urbanization, cultivated land protection, and construction land intensive use has become an urgent issue to be solved. In recent years, domestic and foreign scholars have conducted a large number of studies on urbanization and cultivated land protection, cultivated land protection and construction land intensive use,and urbanization and construction land intensive use. However, there are few systematic studies on the coupling and coordination of the three, and they mainly focus on larger scales such as provinces, with few studies on the city and county scales.County towns are an important component of China’s urban system. Therefore, this paper constructs comprehensive evaluation model and coupling coordination degree model for the "new-type urbanization-cultivated land protectionconstruction land intensive use" system, and selects Ji’an City for empirical research, with a view to providing empirical support and policy inspiration for the new-type urbanization and regional coordinated development in Ji’an City and similar regions. The main research contents of this article are as follows:(1)Establish a system evaluation system of "new-type urbanization-cultivated land protection-construction land intensive use".Based on the conceptual connotation of the three and the existing evaluation system, and following the principles of scientificity, systematism, operability, and dynamism, select representative evaluation factors for the study area, and then eliminate some overlapping evaluation factors. In order to evaluate the new urbanization,13 indicators were selected from the five criteria levels of population migration, economic quality, public construction, human settlements, and urban-rural integration; For the evaluation of cultivated land protection,13 indicators were selected from five criteria levels: cultivated land quantity, input intensity, utilization degree, output benefit, and sustainable status; For the evaluation of construction land intensive use,11 indicators were selected from four criteria levels:input level, utilization efficiency, output efficiency, and land elasticity, and the weight of each indicator was determined using entropy method.(2)Take Ji’an City as an example to conduct empirical research.Based on the three system comprehensive evaluation systems constructed previously, using comprehensive index models, spatial autocorrelation models, and other research methods,it conducts in-depth analysis of the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of the comprehensive index of new-type urbanization, cultivated land protection and construction land intensive use in Ji’an City.On this basis, with the aid of a coupling coordination degree model, the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of the new-type urbanization-cultivated land protection-construction land intensive use system as a whole and the coupling coordination relationship between the two aspects in the study area are explored from the perspectives of city and county respectively. The study found that the urbanization of Ji’an City is developing rapidly, while the protection of cultivated land is facing tremendous pressure, and the level of construction land intensive use needs to be improved. In response to this phenomenon, suggestions are put forward to strengthen the protection of cultivated land and formulate social and economic development policies in accordance with local conditions. |
