Southern Buddhism is one of the three major branches of Chinese Buddhism,which is prevalent in the southwest of Yunnan Province.Among them,the southern Buddhist architecture in Lincang area is rich in remains.Because it is located between Dehong and Pu ’er and Xishuangbanna,it has unique regional characteristics and construction technology.Research on it can strengthen the protection and inheritance of historical and cultural heritage of urban and rural buildings.This thesis takes the representative Southern Buddhist temples and stupas in Lincang area as the research object.Through field investigation,on the basis of field investigation,combined with literature and historical data,from the perspective of multidisciplinary intersection,this thesis summarizes the unique characteristics of Southern Buddhist architecture in Lincang area in the Southern Buddhist cultural circle by means of comparative analysis.Through the research,the origin of the Southern Buddhism is clarified,and the path of the introduction of the Southern Buddhism into Yunnan and its development in Lincang area are described.Then,the overall spatial form of the southern Buddhist temple in Lincang area is analyzed,including the overall characteristics,site selection characteristics,external spatial relations,and the individual buildings are introduced.The spatial position relationship of the buildings in the Buddhist temple is analyzed,and the master-slave internal space layout centered on the Buddhist temple is summarized.Then it analyzes the architectural features of the temples of the Southern Buddhism in Lincang area,and points out that the plane of the hall is mainly the column network layout of parallel four columns,and the modeling style belongs to ’ Dai-Hanization ’.Then,according to the typical characteristics of the stupa in the Lincang area,it can be divided into Reversing foem,multi-layered Sumeru form,and Bamboo Shoots form.The origin of the stupa is mainly the form of Indian-Ceylon,the form of Myanmar-Thailand,and the form of Han in Yunnan,and their plastic arts are studied.Finally,it analyzes the decorative techniques,and points out that it has the decorative style of Dai and Han blending with each other.Finally,it is concluded that the Southern Buddhism architecture in Lincang area is influenced by Han culture,Southern Buddhism culture and Dai traditional culture,forming a unique architectural style. |
