| Qujing Ancient City was first built in the Ming Dynasty,and Ximen Street is the only remaining part of Qujing Ancient City today.The research of this thesis is mainly divided into four parts,namely:(1)This thesis summarizes the relevant research on historic area and management units,combines the dilemma of historic area conservation and renewal with the theory of management units,researches the division and classification methods of management units suitable for historic area,and proposes the basic principles of historic area conservation and renewal;(2)Using historic maps to study the historic evolution of Ximen Street and extract material morphological features and relevant historic information.Analyze and research the current plot,alleys,buildings,and property rights of Ximen Street through research,and divide different morphological areas;(3)By dividing the form areas and property rights areas and overlapping them to generate management units with different attributes,five types of management units are designated based on the division criteria,namely "conservation,maintenance,rectification,renovation,and renewal",to address the inherent problems of different attribute management units;(4)Guided by the principles and objectives of conservation and renewal,and based on the ideas of "divide and rule" and "break up the whole into parts",the corresponding conservation and renewal strategies are formulated for different types of management units from the aspects of traditional building conservation,traditional landscape repair,transformation and renewal,business development guidance,negotiation mechanism and management methods.Based on the management unit method and the current dilemma of historic area conservation and update,this thesis extracts the division and classification methods of historic area management units through comprehensive research,designs a historic area conservation and update path based on the management unit method,and researches the conservation and update strategy,business development guidance,negotiation mechanism,and management implementation method of Ximen Street’s historic area after the division and classification of management units,To provide a reference idea and method for the orderly conservation and renewal of urban historic areas. |
