In the era of digital economy,the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises is not only a key measure to promote the high-quality development of our economy,but also a necessary means to solve the development dilemma of enterprises themselves.However,China’s manufacturing industry is large,and digital transformation is a complex,systematic and long-term process.Many small and medium-sized enterprises have high technology costs,no obvious competitive advantage and high transition risks.So how exactly should enterprises with relatively weak capital and technology transform,and what is the performance in the transformation process? Existing research related to digital transformation focuses on the drivers of digital transformation,pathway mechanisms or single aspects of economic consequences,and rarely links these elements for comprehensive and systematic analysis.Based on this,this thesis takes Shaangu Power as the case study object,systematically analyzes its digital transformation motivation,implementation of transformation measures and performance.Based on dynamic capability theory,process reengineering theory and smile curve theory,this thesis summarizes the literature related to the conceptual connotation,driving factors,realization path and economic consequences of digital transformation,and reviews the existing research.Based on theory and literature,this thesis analyzes the external and internal reasons of the digital transformation of Shaangu Power,combs through the process of its digital transformation,and summarizes the key measures of its digital transformation from four aspects: research and development innovation,operation management,business model and supply chain synergy.Finally,according to the implementation effect of digital transformation of Shaangu Power,this thesis analyzes its performance from the perspectives of R & D ability,operating efficiency,business structure,integrated benefit of supply chain and profitability,draws the research conclusion of this thesis,and puts forward some suggestions for its existing problems.The results show that the digital transformation process of Shaangu Power is the process of constructing new ability,new mode,new karma and creating new value.In this process,customer needs are the starting point,new capabilities are the core path,the foothold is business innovation and the final point is to obtain value benefits.It is worth noting that Shaangu Power is not for digital transformation,but to carry out industrial transformation and upgrade to use digital technology to build a digital research and development system,for the expansion of emerging energy markets,to create a new business model to provide technical support,and ultimately to create value for enterprises.Among them,the value effect is first and most obvious in terms of the increase of revenue scale,optimization of revenue structure,decrease of expenses during sale and increase of turnover of accounts receivable.The efficiency of asset use and improvement of inventory liquidity are not obvious.In a word,enterprises should choose their own path according to their own resource ability and development strategy,pay attention to the cultivation of new ability and grasp the way of value creation.It is hoped that these findings can provide references for manufacturing enterprises in China to transform digitally,improve their competitiveness and create new value benefits.
