| In recent years,with the development of emerging technologies such as big data,cloud computing and artificial intelligence,people’s lifestyles and business operation models have undergone tremendous changes,and China’s real economy is gradually transforming into a digital economy,and the digital economy is becoming the core of global economic development.In the face of the impact of the digital economy,the traditional manufacturing industry needs to adapt to the development of the times and actively carry out digital transformation.As an important part of the traditional manufacturing industry,the home appliance industry is imminent in digital transformation.However,the home appliance industry has a long industrial chain,complex management content,and a long digital transformation process,which will be affected by various factors inside and outside the enterprise,so its digital transformation is a more challenging task.How the home appliance industry can seize the dividends of the digital economy and effectively improve its performance and overall competitiveness through digital transformation is an urgent problem to be solved in the process of transformation.On the basis of combing relevant literature at home and abroad,this paper explores the impact mechanism of digital transformation on enterprise performance with the help of process reengineering theory,contingency theory and balanced scorecard theory.At the same time,Midea Group,which has achieved remarkable results in digital transformation,was selected as a case enterprise,and the balanced scorecard and EVA model were used to study the impact of its digital transformation on enterprise performance,and the mechanism path of its digital transformation affecting enterprise performance was analyzed.The results show that from the financial perspective,digital transformation can improve the profitability and operational capabilities of Midea Group.From the perspective of customers,digital transformation has increased Midea Group’s market share;From the perspective of internal operations,digital transformation can optimize operational processes and reduce management costs.From the perspective of learning and growth,digital transformation has improved employees’ education level and R&D capabilities.EVA-based performance evaluation shows that digital transformation can improve enterprises’ ability to resist risks.In addition,Midea Group’s digital transformation mainly affects corporate performance through three paths: business management,manufacturing,products and services: establishing a digital platform can improve operational efficiency,optimize the educational structure of employees,improve intellectual capital,build a "lighthouse factory" to improve production efficiency,establish a R&D network to strengthen innovation capabilities,design personalized products and intelligent after-sales service to improve user experience.Based on the above analysis,in order to promote the success of digital transformation of home appliance enterprises and improve enterprise performance.This article draws inspiration from the case study of Midea Group’s digital transformation: for Midea Group,it should deepen digital marketing methods and enhance the collection efficiency of enterprises;Improve digital capital management capabilities and keep corporate budgets under control.The enlightenment for home appliance companies is that enterprises should adhere to the principle of cost-effectiveness and formulate digital transformation strategies according to local conditions;Digitalization will empower the whole process of enterprises,build an intelligent management platform for enterprises,and cultivate digital technology teams to improve the R&D efficiency of enterprises. |
