Study On The Defense Safety Design Of Changchun Urban Public Space

Urban public space is the important carriers and conditions of urban crime, andthe spatial quality of urban public space have a significance influence of the defensesafety design. The existing urban public space design in China due to lack of enoughattention to the safety defense is easy to form the negative space missing defense.This paper combs the existing study of crime prevention through design of domesticand overseas, putting forward of preventing and controlling crime in the design ofcity public space is an effective way to solve the problem of urban crime.The paper is based on the theory of CPTED, and take 《Research on the UrbanPhysical Environment Vulnerable to Crime》 as the basis for choosing Changchuncity public space design examples. Cutting into the paper from the perspectives ofspatial scale and function layout and combined with the design examples analysis,and Putting forward to city public space design is needed to be combined with theneeds of the residents, spatial properties and site features.By the means ofeliminating environmental factors stimulated crime and reducing crime opportunityto increase natural surveillance and territoriality of city public space improves thedefense of the urban public space.The full text is divided into four parts:The first part: introduce the research background, purpose and significance ofthe paper, as well as the related research status of the crime prevention throughenvironmental design of domestic and overseas, clear the paper research content andmethods and put forward a research framework;The second part: take a short introduction of CPTED, Defensible Space,Routine Activity Theory and Rational Choice Theory. Illustrate relevant concepts ofurban public space and the defense safety design. The territoriality and naturalsurveillance and image and mileu of urban public space have significant influence of defense safety design, and do enough theory to the research of the paper;The third part: analyze the related characteristics of urban public space anddefense security. From the network structure, function layout, spatial scale andboundary surround close four elements analysis of urban public space defensesecurity design focus to consider, and analyze the defense security hidden danger ofChangchun existence squares,street and parks.The fourth part: summarize Changchun urban public space defense securitydesign strategy, according to the different nature of squares, streets and parks putforward the corresponding defense security design strategies and methods.
