Research On The Defence Safety Design Strategy Of Public Space In Changchun Subway Station Area

With the rough expansion of the city,a morbid space environment that is easy to induce crime has emerged,and many urban safety problems have emerged.As the core space of the combination of rail transit and urban space,the public space in the subway station area is closely related to people’s daily travel and life.However,the problem of uncoordinated development with urban development is increasingly prominent,and there are characteristics such as dense personnel,large mobility and complex environment,which all put forward higher requirements for its environmental safety.Combined with the theory of "crime prevention through environmental design"(CPTED),this paper puts forward the defense safety design strategy of public space in subway station area.Based on the CPTED theory,this paper summarized the material environmental factors that affect the defense safety of the public space of subway stations into accessibility,identification,surveillance,territoriality and positivity,and combines the functions of "Urban Physical Environment Vulnerable to Crime" to divide Changchun subway stations into commercial center subway stations,residential community subway stations and transportation hub subway stations.Firstly,the axis analysis and horizon analysis of space syntax are used to quantitatively analyze the morphological structure of public space in the subway station area,and the relationship between variables such as integration value,connection value and intelligibility and environmental factors such as accessibility,identification and surveillance of space is obtained.Secondly,the data obtained from the questionnaire survey are analyzed by SPSS,and the influence of environmental factors such as territoriality,positivity and identification of space on the safety perception of space users is obtained.Thirdly,combined with the field investigation,we find out the specific defense safety problems in three types of public space in Changchun subway station area.Finally,the defense safety design strategies of public spaces in commercial center subway stations,residential community subway stations and transportation hub subway stations are summarized,and then summarized into general design guidelines.At last,this paper hopes to reduce the opportunities and conditions of crime by reasonably improving the negative environmental factors in the public space of subway station area,so as to reduce space users’ fear of crime,establish a defensible space,and provide design strategy support for creating a safe,comfortable and defensible public space of subway station area.
