Research On The Safety Design Of Rural External Space Environment Based On CPTED Theory

Since the construction of safe villages in China,efforts have been made to improve the security and control system in rural areas and to strengthen the security of the elderly and children left behind in rural areas,and more attention has gradually been paid to how to effectively carry out security prevention and control in rural spatial environments.At the same time,improving spontaneous safety surveillance in space through environmental design is constantly proposed and applied as a new approach.However,on the whole,domestic research on spatial security is mainly focused on social security,urban planning,crime prevention and crime prevention,etc.At present,there is a lack of research on crime prevention and security theories and strategies based on the perspective of physical space planning and beautiful countryside construction,especially on the design of rural external space security.A good rural external space,as a place where villagers can freely enter and exit and exchange ideas,can improve the safety of spatial behaviour and reduce the occurrence of spatially unsafe behaviour;however,adverse stimuli to human psychology and emotions in the physical environment and improper spatial management can disrupt normal human behaviour and have a direct impact on the generation of fear of crime.Therefore,this paper starts with a study of the spatial areas(spatial visibility,monitoredness,domainality and accessibility)that are prone to defensive security problems in the representative rural external spatial environment of Nanguan Village in Daming County.This paper introduces spatial syntax and analyses the accessibility and visibility of the external space of Nanguan Village as the starting point.It analyses the syntactic variables that are highly relevant to the external space of Nanguan Village,such as integration,connection and depth values,and the coefficient of convergence of sight lines,and combines the results of the questionnaire data analysis to derive the structural characteristics of the external space of Nanguan Village and the key areas of defence and security.The aim of this study is to draw attention to the spatial security design in the construction of safe villages in China,so as to improve residents’ spatial participation and create a safe and comfortable village living environment through the design of the overall environment of the village external space,and to provide a theoretical and design basis for the design of the external space security in the future.
