Study On Environmental Colors Of Traditional Villages Around Chaohu Lake Area

With a long history of more than 5,000 years,China has formed a large number of traditional villages.These traditional villages contain rich and colorful historical and cultural information of different periods,regions and ethnic groups,They’re also important carriers of brilliant civilization of the Chinese nation.Chinese President Xi Jingping proposed the strategy of rural revitalization in the report of the 19 th National Congress,and the prerequisite for achieving rural revitalization is beautiful environment.Color is the most straightforward visual element in constituting beautiful environment and it plays an important role in the village landscape.The area around Chaohu Lake is an important part of central Anhui,and its healthy ecological environment is the core support of Hefei’s "Great Lake City" strategy.It is hard to protect the traditional villages,inherit the traditional culture and coordinate the colors of the Chaohu Lake area while developing the economy.Therefore,it is urgent to study and establish the color spectrum of the traditional village environment in the Chaohu Lake area.In this context,the color of the traditional village environment in the Chaohu Lake area is taken as the research object and this research is divided into the following parts as follows:(1)On the basis of sorting out the current situation of domestic and foreign research related to urban and rural environmental color and architectural color,the environmental color of traditional villages in the Chaohu Lake ring area is studied and analyzed combining the relevant theoretical research of color science,color psychology and color geography,referring to the research methods in color geography.After a field study of nine traditional villages in the Chaohu Lake area,three representative villages,including Hong Tuan Village,were selected.(2)The overall environmental profile of the representative traditional villages was studied in detail,and the current situation of environmental color was analyzed at three levels: the overall environmental color at the macro level,the color of building facades at the meso level,and the color of building details,architectural decoration and other colors at the micro level.The color data were compared and analyzed,and the three levels were found to be homogeneous and different.(3)After Summarizing the regional characteristics of the environmental color of traditional villages in the Chaohu Lake area,we can see that the overall environmental color has the characteristics of diversity,authenticity and harmony;the natural vegetation color has the characteristics of richness and variability;the traditional architecture mainly shows the color characteristics of low to medium brightness,low to medium color and low to medium brightness without color.The causes of environmental color in the Chaohu Lake area were also investigated based on both natural and artificial environmental factors.(4)By studying the current situation of traditional village environmental colors in the area around Chaohu Lake,it was found that the environmental colors of traditional villages in the area are affected to some extent by building renovations and other reasons.Therefore,the principles and strategies for protecting and utilizing the environmental colors of traditional villages in the area around Chaohu Lake were proposed.The recommended color atlas for the exterior facade of buildings compiled will provide reference for the inheritance and innovation of architectural color design in traditional villages around Chaohu Lake in the future.
