Study On The Protection Mode Of Railway Industrial Heritage Corridor In The Middle East

In the 20 th century,railroads,as one of the world’s major transportation modes,greatly contributed to the economic,social and human civilization progress of the regions along the routes,and also became the transportation hub of today’s society.With the development of social economy and the upgrading of urban construction,people are increasingly neglecting the protection of urban railways,and some railways and their ancillary facilities have been abandoned or even demolished.This project takes the Siping-Gongzhuling section of the Middle East Railway as the research object and proposes a new idea of railroad cultural heritage conservation by taking the heritage corridor perspective as the entry point.The Middle East Railway is a railroad inextricably linked to the historical development of northeastern China,both as a major transportation route across the north and south,influencing the regional pattern of towns along the way,as an industrial system,and as a heavy history of the war years.Since its completion in1903 and its opening to traffic 119 years ago,the Middle East Railway branch line has left a large number of cultural heritage resources,but due to the worrying fate of the railroad remains along the line in the context of rapid urbanization,many important facilities and landmarks have been demolished,the environmental space of ancillary buildings has been squeezed,and the line has been renovated for newness and speed,etc.,it is necessary to quickly sort out the cultural remains along the line and promote the research and protection of industrial heritage along the line.protection.In the existing literature,the study of linear industrial heritage can generally be divided into two categories: cultural lines and cultural lines.Compared with cultural lines,heritage corridors pay more attention to the study of heritage itself and establish a conservation framework,so as to provide systematic theoretical guidance and conservation reuse strategies for heritage conservation.In this paper,we will combine the concept of heritage corridor and the Siping to Gongzhuling section of the Middle East Railway branch line through literature review method,multidisciplinary cross-research method and field survey method to investigate and count the industrial heritage in the Middle East and assess the value of the historical heritage along its route;identify the industrial heritage in the Middle East and propose corresponding conservation and reuse methods;on this basis,we will take the Siping to On the basis of this,we take Siping to Gongzhuling of the Middle East Railway as an example,from "green corridor","interpretation organization","traffic organization" and "key industrial buildings " The "core protection zone","control protection zone" and "control development zone" are the three levels,and according to the designated According to the protection level,the protection modes of "urban function","industrial landscape" and "industrial heritage tourism" are implemented respectively.This project takes the Siping Gongzhuling section of the Middle East Railway as an example,collates the existing data,and establishes a complete set of industrial heritage protection corridors for the Middle East Railway on this basis,laying the foundation and theoretical basis for future work.
