The Investigation, Protection And Utilization Of Heritage Along The Anfeng Railway From The Perspective Of Heritage Corridor

Anfeng Railway,now named as Shendan First Railway,is the railway starts from Andong,now called as Dandong,passing by Benxi then ends at Fentian,which is known as Shenyang now.It was a light military railway with narrow rails built by Japanese for military supplies delivery during the Japanese-Russian War.It covers three cities and a number of cities and towns along the way,and even has effects on New Yeeju of Korea.A large number of heritages are along this railway,besides natural and cultural heritage,most of them are railway industrial heritages and related industries developed during railway construction.However,the protection of these sites varies.Some heritage sites with higher levels of protection are better protected,but most of industries along the way are basically out of use because their scattered distribution and old unserviceable facilities.This passage may be helpful to make contributions to the protection of heritages along the Anfeng Railway.According to the related data that the author has had,the total number of studies on Anfeng Railway is small,and they are centered on History and Urban and Rural Planning,with few studies on the planning and protection of sites along the Anfeng Railway.Under the guidance of industrial heritage theory and heritage corridor theory,it carries out studies on on-site investigation and development and utilization of along-line sites from the perspective of heritage corridor.First of all,it clarifies the history of Anfeng railway construction,then lists representative heritage sites along the Anfeng Railway,via methods of literature review,collection of old photographs and current status survey,etc.After organizing sites and making an analysis of their value,clarify the objectives and principles of heritage corridor construction,raise the construction strategy of heritage corridors of Anfeng Railway from perspectives of constructing green corridor,explaining system and organizing transport system.Last,on the basis of geographical and heritage categories,make divisions of heritage corridors regional arrangement,heritage gathering area arrangement and sites arrangement,and to raise related advice on constructional feasibility and exploitation of heritage corridors of Anfeng Railway.The Anfeng Railway and its heritage along it have great value in history,economy,culture and art.On the background of north-east rejuvenation,optimizing the urban image with excellent cultural heritages has great significance on promoting cultural tourism development.
