| The automotive parts industry is the foundation that supports the steady development of the overall automotive industry.Digital transformation assists small and medium-sized auto parts enterprises in addressing the challenges of industry information integration and better coping with market competition. However, there is a gap between the expected value creation and the actual outcomes of digital transformation for these enterprises, and dynamic capabilities play a facilitating role in value creation.Based on this, this paper conducts research on the enhancement of dynamic capabilities for small and medium-sized auto parts enterprises in the context of digital transformation.According to previous research, this paper divides the dynamic capabilities of small and medium-sized auto parts enterprises during the process of digital transformation into four dimensions: environmental adaptation capability, change and innovation capability, resource integration capability, and technological flexibility capability. This research is conducted through a cross-case study approach and empirical research methods. At the case study level, this paper selects YJ Company and LT Company as research samples.YJ Company faces the issue of product homogeneity and utilizes digital transformation to build an online platform for flexible production and brand establishment, meeting customized customer demands.LT Company, which had a traditional manual production process, faced problems of errors and low efficiency. With the assistance of a third-party service provider,LT Company established an enterprise manufacturing execution system to achieve lean manufacturing and meet customer demands for high-quality products. This paper explores the changes in the dimensions of dynamic capabilities during the digital transformation process in different cases,as well as the value benefits created through the enhancement of dynamic capabilities.Commonalities and differences among the cases are compared and refined to improve the theoretical framework of this paper. At the empirical research level, based on existing literature and the research presented in this paper, hypotheses are formulated.A questionnaire is distributed to and collected from 300 small and medium-sized auto parts enterprises.SPSS is used as a statistical analysis tool to examine reliability and validity, perform correlation analysis, and conduct regression analysis to verify the theoretical framework of this paper.By studying the relationship between dynamic capabilities and value creation, this paper constructs a framework for enhancing dynamic capabilities, providing reference for addressing the phenomenon of unrealized value creation in digital transformation. This research draws the following conclusions: firstly, the enhancement of dynamic capabilities significantly and positively influences value creation for small and medium-sized auto parts enterprises during the process of digital transformation;secondly, dynamic capabilities, through the four dimensions(environmental adaptation capability, change and innovation capability, resource integration capability, and technological flexibility capability),play a driving role in value creation during the digital transformation of these enterprises;thirdly, the enhancement of dynamic capabilities is a continuous process for small and medium-sized auto parts enterprises during digital transformation;fourthly, different dimensions of dynamic capabilities dominate value creation for these enterprises at different stages of digital transformation. |
