Abstract/Summary:
Under a series of social realities such as the continuous upgrading of residents’ consumption structure,the vigorous development of the experience economy,and the huge impact of the epidemic on the catering industry,the catering industry has produced new development trends and difficulties.Including but not limited to the serious homogenization of catering space,the short life cycle of catering brands,the rising cost of artificial food ingredients rent and other problems.At the same time,the catering industry is moving towards the trend of digitalization,branding and experience.Catering enterprises need differentiated restaurant design to attract and retain consumers and create higher business value.This paper takes user experience as the starting point and catering space design as the research object to analyze the possibility of catering space optimization.The process,principles,methods and strategies of dining space design based on user experience are specifically proposed to promote the development of dining space design to better user experience.The research results and conclusions are as follows:In summary,through qualitative design methods,this paper deeply discusses the dining space design process,design principles and design strategies based on user experience,in order to provide reference for dining space design.(1)Summarize the development context and research status of user experience and catering space design at home and abroad,and clarify the connotation of catering space design based on user experience.(2)Study the relevant theoretical knowledge of user experience,user experience design,catering space and catering space design,and summarize the relationship between user experience and catering space design.And on the basis of previous literature research,through field research,case analysis and other methods,to investigate the rules and methods of creating a good user experience in the design of brand catering space.It is found that the design methods mainly focus on enriching functional experience,strengthening sensory stimulation,and cultural design.(3)Based on field research and previous theoretical research results,the design principles of dining space based on user experience are proposed: user-centered,enriching experience dimensions as much as possible,full-scene design strategy,and value co-creation.Combined with the relevant knowledge of catering space design,specific design strategies and methods are proposed.(4)Based on the above research results,"Yuxiang Yuwei" restaurant in Zhengzhou City is selected for design practice,and the local humanistic characteristics of Henan Province and the project characteristics of the restaurant are considered,and the dining space design thinking based on user experience is refined,so as to test the feasibility of the research results.(5)In summary,through qualitative design methods,this paper deeply discusses the dining space design process,design principles and design strategies based on user experience,in order to provide reference for dining space design.
