Research On Landscape Design Based On The Use Of Perspective Field In Private Gardens In Suzhou

Chinese gardens are the treasures of the world culture and have a profound heritage.Most of the existing Chinese gardens are mainly private gardens except for temple gardens,among which Suzhou private gardens are the masterpiece.At present,the research on the sight line of Suzhou private gardens mainly focuses on viewpoint,sight distance and field of view,but there is less research on the application of viewpoint field to landscape design itself,and the inheritance and application of modern landscape design to traditional Chinese gardens has become a difficult point in this field.Therefore,how to support modern landscape design through the application of viewpoint fields in gardens is of great significance.In this thesis,we analyze the layout pattern of viewpoint field in gardens by studying several private gardens in Suzhou,such as Humble Administrator’s Garden,Liuyuan Garden,Lion Grove,Canglang Pavilion,Netshi Garden and Yiyuan Garden,and using "Garden Ye" as the theoretical basis.Finally,based on the results of the research and analysis,we propose strategies for the application of viewpoint fields in gardens from two aspects: static layout and dynamic path guidance,and carry out design practice.Firstly,by combing and analyzing the literature on the status of domestic and foreign research,research background and related concepts,a logical relationship between private garden landscape and viewpoint field is established from the theoretical level of Suzhou private garden landscape and viewpoint field;secondly,by conducting field research and obtaining relevant data from Suzhou Humble Administrator’s Garden,Liuyuan Garden,Lion Grove,Canglang Pavilion,Netshi Garden and Yiyuan Garden,these data are plotted and analyzed at the viewpoint Finally,we analyze the design strategy of viewpoint field in private garden landscape from two aspects of static distribution and dynamic guidance,and then combine the theoretical and analytical results to guide the design practice,and form a specific design plan for the use of viewpoint field in private garden in Suzhou.The design plan is then combined with the theoretical and analytical results to guide the design practice.
