| With the steady development of Chinese urban construction, people are putting forward higher requirements for outdoor green space, and the aesthetic level of the landscape is gradually rising. At the same time, most of the urban park landscape is still stuck in the external form or functional level, lacking deep thinking on design emotion, and the increasingly indifferent relationship between man and man,man and nature also makes the national cultural spirit cannot be continued and inherited in the true sense. As the spiritual needs of human beings continue to increase and seek to resonate with nature, the use of emotional design concepts in the landscape field is gradually gaining attention. At present, most of the research on emotional design stays in the field of industrial, graphic and interior design, while the significance of emotional design in the landscape is to integrate the aesthetic subject and the object environment into one,to get the sublimation of emotion. As a product of Chinese culture and art,the classical gardens of Suzhou are a vehicle for the full expression of emotional design.Usually, emotional design is studied from the perspective of Western emotional theory, which analyses the object from the perspective of the user and ignores the emotions of the designer. As private gardens, classical gardens in Suzhou are mainly dominated by their owners,so they are both objects with rich emotional symbolism and emotional carriers of their owners’ inner world. The aim of this paper is to explore the theory of landscape architecture based on emotional design in classical Suzhou gardens and to provide necessary guidance for the design of landscapes that meet the emotional needs of people in contemporary urban parks,to fully affirm the role of emotional design in the art of landscape architecture in classical Suzhou gardens, and to extend the cultural heritage of classical Suzhou gardens in a developmental way.Based on the needs of the times and the current state of development, this paper combed through relevant historical materials, literature and fieldwork results to obtain a large amount of data and first-hand information and based on theories related to emotional design in psychology,it proposes more possibilities for the value of the art of landscape composition in classical Suzhou gardens.Firstly, the concepts and logical relationships between classical gardens, landscape art and emotional design in Suzhou are clarified.Secondly,it explores the two levels of the designer and the garden entity: from the perspective of the designer,i.e.the master of the garden, through the examination of the history of classical gardens in Suzhou and the historical materials related to the master of the garden,it traces the aesthetic and emotional history of the garden, compares the master of classical gardens in Suzhou through the ages and selects five distinctive masters to analyze their emotional refraction in the art of landscape composition. From the perspective of garden entities, the emotional extensions of the landscape elements and techniques in the landscape art of classical Suzhou gardens are explored exemplarily, and the emotional connotations of the national cultural connotations of the unity of heaven and man,the valuing of harmony and the nobility of the middle, the transcendence and seclusion, and the sentiment of family and country are distilled.Secondly,on the basis of the theoretical study, through fieldwork and questionnaire surveys of some landscape nodes in classical Suzhou gardens, the SD method is used to quantify the testers’ emotional evaluations and summarize the external emotional factors, interactive emotional factors and spiritual emotional factors that influence contemporary people’s perception of the art of landscape composition in classical Suzhou gardens;finally,a more diverse perspective is taken on the existing problems of contemporary urban park landscapes to Finally,a more diversified perspective on the existing problems of contemporary urban park landscapes will be taken to summarize effective emotional design methods, which are of great significance in dealing with the relationship between people and place. |
