| The outbreak and spread of the COVID-19 epidemic had a huge impact on the operation and management of the port supply chain.Due to the impact of epidemic control, the port supply chain suffers from poor cross regional transportation, extended service timeliness, and a shortage of container sources at the port, making it difficult to recover the transport capacity of the port supply chain in a short time. The rising freight rates have greatly increased the operating costs of the port supply chain. In the context of the epidemic, the instability of logistics, information flow, and capital flow has led to changes in consumer demand and regional imbalances in the port supply chain, which are extremely vulnerable to damage, even leading to "chain breakage",exposing the vulnerability of China’s port supply chain. Therefore,in the face of public health emergencies such as the COVID-19,how to ensure the stable operation of the port supply chain has become an urgent problem for managers. This study introduces the issue of supply chain stability into the field of port supply chain, focusing on exploring the impact mechanism of port supply chain stability in the context of the epidemic, which has important theoretical significance and practical value for improving the stable development and core competitiveness of port supply chain in the post epidemic era.Firstly, this article summarizes the research status of port supply chain, factors affecting supply chain stability, development status, and supply chain management in the context of epidemic situation by studying and combing relevant domestic and foreign literature, and introduces the relevant theoretical basis of port supply chain and supply chain stability.Based on the existing problems in port supply chain operation, the influencing factors of port supply chain stability in the context of epidemic situation were extracted.Taking logistics collaboration ability, information sharing level, partnership, benefit distribution degree, informatization degree, and policy support strength as independent variables, port supply chain stability as dependent variables, and epidemic environmental impact factors as regulatory variables, relevant research assumptions are proposed and theoretical models are constructed. Then, drawing on the mature scales at home and abroad and revising them to make them more suitable for the research context of this article,a questionnaire on the factors affecting the stability of the port supply chain in the context of the epidemic was designed.Through the pre-survey and the issuance and recovery of formal questionnaires,283 valid questionnaires were ultimately obtained. Finally, data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using SPSS22.0 and AMOS24.0 software, including sample descriptive analysis, normal distribution testing, reliability and validity analysis, and correlation analysis. The research hypothesis was validated through direct effect testing and regulatory effect testing. The research results show that:(i)The influencing factors of port supply chain stability include logistics collaboration ability, information sharing level, partnership, benefit allocation degree, informatization degree, and policy support, all of which have a significant positive impact on port supply chain stability.(ii)The influencing factors of this study are ranked according to the influence coefficient,in order of partnership, informatization degree, policy support, logistics coordination ability, benefit distribution degree, and information sharing level.(iii)Influential factors of the epidemic environment play a significant negative regulatory role between various factors and the stability of the port supply chain. The purpose of this thesis is to discover the impact of different factors on port supply chain stability in the context of an epidemic, verify the regulatory effect of factors affecting the epidemic environment, and make a certain supplement to the research theory on port supply chain and supply chain stability. The management suggestions for promoting the stability of the port supply chain in the post epidemic era are proposed, which have certain theoretical support and practical guidance for achieving the stable development of the port supply chain and improving the risk resistance to public health emergencies. |
