Urban park green space,as an important component of the urban green space system,provides open spaces for nearby residents to engage in recreational activities.Research has shown that urban park green space can directly promote public health.Therefore,the fair and reasonable layout of urban park green spaces meets the core requirements of people-oriented scientific development in cities,and conforms to the new requirements of the times for park green spaces.A comprehensive and more detailed evaluation and analysis of the spatial layout of park green spaces can further promote the high-quality development of urban park green spaces and maximize the beneficial role of urban park green spaces for people.This study takes urban park green space as the research object and evaluates the fairness of urban park green space layout based on environmental equity theory.The researchfirst summarizes the theoretical research stage of urban park green space,the development and application of environmental equity theory,and the related research on environmental equity of urban park green space,as the theoretical support for the research and to grasp the current progress and shortcomings of related research.Secondly,based on the evaluation theory mechanism of "urban park green space allocation fairness process fairness",which extends from park green space to human oriented evaluation,the connotation requirements of environmental fairness in urban park green space are clarified as the basis for selecting evaluation dimensions.Then,by determining the content of each evaluation indicator and identifying the influencing factors of fairness in each research indicator,the buffer zone analysis method is established The improved Gauss two-step mobile search method and other research methods,with the help of reachability,Spearman correlation coefficient and other evaluation indicators,established the evaluation system of urban park green spacefrom distribution fairness to process fairness.Once again,the evaluation system is applied to the empirical analysis of urban park green spaces in Zhengzhou City,and the main evaluation results are as follows:1.The overall layout of green spaces in the research area is relatively low.The average goodness of the layout of parks and green spaces in the research area is 0.96,whichis lower than the average goodness of 1.58 in the main 35 cities in China published in the2022 "China Major Urban Park Assessment Report".The service scope of amusement parks in the research area only accounts for 0.008,the service scope of community parks reaches 0.127,and the service coverage of comprehensive parks reaches 0.824.The servicecoverage of amusement parks,community parks,and comprehensive parks has not reached1.2.The reachability of park green space in the study area is insufficient.According to the analysis results of reachability of residential areas to the park green space,the total ratio of reachability with walking time less than 5 minutes is 20.30%;The total reachability ratio of 5 min to 10 min was 51.49%.The reachability of park green space in Huiji District,Economic and Technological Development Zone(part)and High tech Industrial Development Zone is seriously insufficient.Although the total reachability ratio was65.33% when the riding time was less than 5 minutes;The total ratio of 5 min to 10 min reachability is 96.36%,which exceeds the middle average score.However,190 cells are still in the blind zone of the largest service range.3.The phenomenon of unfair allocation of green space resources in the research area is severe,mainly reflected between streets and within individual streets.The distribution of location entropy of children’s population and park green space resources in the research area is relatively uneven.Within 81 blocks,areas with low location entropy accounted for76.54%,while only 23.46% were at amoderate or above level.The areas with lower location entropy in the elderly population and park green space resources account for66.67% of the total,exceeding half of the total.At present,the distribution of various urban park green spaces in the research area isuneven,with a serious imbalance between supply and demand.Moreover,the supply of parks cannot meet the needs of residents,and the unfair distribution of green space resources is serious.It is necessary to tailor measures to local conditions,while retaining the original urban planning and construction,to add more urban park green spaces,connect small amusement parks or community parks,and build a "green network" to maximize the health benefits of urban park green spaces and achieve a beautiful scene of seeing green when going out.Establish a slow traffic system to increase the reachability of pedestrian parks and green spaces.Due to the limitations of travel modes for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and children,nearby travel has become a norm.Building a slow moving system ecological network plays an important role in increasing the opportunities for vulnerablegroups to enter parks.This study aims to provide a more reasonable spatial layout of urban park green spaces in Zhengzhou City,and to provide some reference for residents’ green space needs and behavioral habits to be more in line.
