Research On The Analysis And Activation Of The Space Of The Etiquette And Custom Cultural Activities In Traditional Villages In Yuxian County

Traditional villages are the material carrier and wisdom crystallization of traditional culture.As an organic combination of material and intangible cultural heritage,cultural activities of etiquette and customs,as well as their carrying space,not only mark the spatial features of villages,but also showcase historical roots and cultural memories,and are a concentrated reflection of excellent traditional Chinese culture.However,in the current era of rapid social and economic development,rural society has gradually shifted from being closed to being open and mobile,profoundly affecting the social structure of urban and rural areas and the survival of rural areas.In this process,the space for ritual and cultural activities has also been impacted.Due to the changing needs of modern society,the space for cultural activities of etiquette and customs is facing a series of difficulties,such as changes in the subject of use and conceptual values,damage to the spatial style and significant differences in preservation,misalignment of spatial scale and functional requirements,and difficulty in inheriting cultural activities of etiquette and customs.Therefore,it is urgent to explore the historical and cultural information of the space for ritual and cultural activities,analyze the characteristics of the space,condense the construction wisdom,and propose effective activation and utilization strategies under the premise of protection and inheritance,in order to achieve the active protection of the space for ritual and cultural activities.Yuxian County is located in the northwest region of Hebei Province and is under the jurisdiction of Zhangjiakou City.As of 2023,a total of six batches of 47 villages have been included in the selected national traditional village list.This article selects39 traditional villages as the research objects.Firstly,by reviewing the relevant research results of traditional villages,ritual and cultural activity spaces,and the Yuxian area at home and abroad,the theoretical foundation of the thesis is laid.Secondly,the traditional village etiquette and customs cultural activities in Yuxian County are divided into three types: festival activities,ritual activities,and opera activities,and the corresponding relationship between the three types of activities and spatial types is clarified.On this basis,the thesis uses spatial analysis methods such as fractal theory,node network diagram,spatial syntax and street network density to summarize the spatial morphological characteristics of etiquette and custom cultural activities from the four aspects of overall space,point space,linear space and area space,and refine the "synergy wisdom that complements each other and stands side by side","adaptive wisdom that adapts to local conditions and harmoniously adapts people and land" There are four types of space construction wisdom: "development wisdom of disaster prevention and risk avoidance,coexistence of human environment" and "moral education wisdom of borrowing environment to embody virtue,and integration of human environment".Finally,based on the development needs of spatial functional adaptation,spatial style continuation,differentiated development,and cohesion of value consensus,as well as cultural inheritance and innovation,and adhering to the three concepts of protecting historical and cultural resources,classifying and activating,and respecting the natural ecological background,the thesis focuses on the following aspects: "Living inheritance of ritual and cultural activity spaces-inheritance and innovation of activities","reshaping of spatial style-continuation and restoration of spatial feelings" Specific strategies are proposed from six aspects: "Inheritance of Spatial Style-Formulation of Construction Guidelines","Enhancement of Place Atmosphere-Element Supplement and Form Innovation","Functional Implantation and Space Reconstruction-Optimization,Transfer and Integration",and "Policy Support-Diversified Collaboration and Policy Support".This article aims to explore the differentiation and gradual activation and utilization strategy of traditional village etiquette and customs cultural activity space,in order to achieve the harmonious development of traditional village society,economy,people and space,protect and inherit excellent traditional culture,promote the sustainable development of traditional villages in Yuxian,and provide certain reference for promoting rural revitalization work.
