Research On The Design Of Healthy Landscape In Cold Cities

Although China is still in the period of rapid development of the labor force,the proportion of people aged 60 and over 65 is increasing,and aging has become a serious problem in the current development of China.With the increasing growth of the aging population making the pressure of social pension become more and more,how to actively cope with the aging problem has become a major issue facing China.At the same time,in cold cities,due to the geographical environment of cold climate,the landscape design of senior citizen institutions in cold cities has many restrictions,and the outdoor landscape design of senior citizen institutions needs to be improved urgently.In this thesis,the research object is the design of recreation landscape in cold cities with special climatic conditions,using the theoretical knowledge of landscape ecology,environmental psychology,horticultural therapy,etc.,based on the usage needs of the elderly and the practical problems arising from the use of the external landscape of the elderly institutions in cold cities.The research methods of comparative analysis,literature review and empirical research were used to study several aspects of the accessibility facilities,water features,plant configuration and signage and lighting facilities of the recreational landscape.Four design strategies,namely barrier-free environment strategy,microclimate strategy,spatial hierarchy strategy and horticultural therapy strategy,are summarized to create an age-appropriate,humanized and comfortable recreation landscape.The design practice of this thesis takes the outdoor landscape design of the Sujiatun Central Home for the Elderly in Shenyang as an example,combining cold climate factors in a cold city with recreational landscape design,and starting from the comfort and environmental safety of elderly people’s residence,the design research is carried out from the project background analysis,design positioning and concept,design ideas,scheme design,zoning design,special design and landscape nodes respectively.While meeting the different requirements of the living environment of the elderly with different needs,the project also aims to achieve a diversity of functions for the elderly,thereby improving the quality of life of the elderly.Through theoretical analysis and practical research,it is intended to provide some reference for the future development of cold urban elderly institutions in the landscape space.
