A Study On The Impact Path Of Community Micro-Renewal On Community Health

As urban construction enters the era of stock optimization,the large-scale incremental construction in the past gradually shifts to stock quality transformation,and "micro-renewal" becomes an important part of stock rehabilitation.Among them,community micro-renewal,especially the renovation of old urban communities,has received much attention because it is related to the quality of life of community residents.Most of the old communities are suffering from shortage of public space,aging and dilapidated buildings,traffic congestion,poor community environment and poor property management,which seriously affect the health of the communities.Community micro-renewal focuses on solving community problems and improving community habitat,which has become an important way and means to improve community health.Current research on health from an urban renewal perspective focuses more on the health of urban systems,mainly on improving the quality of the physical environment.There have been some research results on community health research,but there are few studies on how community micro-renewal affects community health,and most of the existing studies use case studies or theoretical analysis,emphasizing the impact of individual variables on community health,ignoring the diversity and complexity of variables affecting community health.This study analyzes the impact mechanisms and pathways of community micro-renewal on community health based on fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis and constructs an index system from two dimensions: built environment and social environment.The study found that the community "communication space" is a sufficient condition for community health,and the realization of community health depends on the combination and interaction of influencing factors in the built environment and social environment.The study has come up with eight combinations of variables,and analyzed the applicability of different combinations of paths to different community contexts with typical cases,among which the combination path: the combination path "communication activity space * transportation organization space *community public participation * renewal mode" is suitable for micro-renewal at the overall community scale,and is useful for improving the overall well-being and health of community residents.The combined path "communication activity space*transportation organization space*community public participation*renewal mode" is applicable to the overall community scale micro-renewal and has a positive effect on the overall well-being and health of the community residents.The combination of "communication activity space*community public participation*renewal mode*community impact" is applicable to the transformation of local spaces within the community,such as community gardens,micro-gardens,community squares and other public spaces,or the revitalization of the community’s misshapen spaces,which helps to efficiently use space and improve the charm and vitality of the community.Based on the above findings,this study proposes an optimization strategy for community microrenewal from two dimensions,namely community built environment and social environment,to provide a reference for how to enhance community environment in micro-renewal practice,and build and achieve high-quality development of healthy communities.
