| Quality is an important cornerstone for enterprises to survive and develop in the market,especially for the medical device industry.The medical products serve thousands of patients,provide them with health checks and critical healthcare support,those products run smoothly may save more lives each single day,a quality problem may let a patient away from us.By the end of the 2021,there are more than 45,000 enterprises,more than 16,000 manufacturers,and the medical device market is worth more than 500 billion yuan.The growth rate of the medical device industry is faster than that of the world.As a foreign medical device company,it is more than 120 years since TY company’s first equipment introduced to China.TY Company has set up production line in China for more than 30 years,but most of the suppliers are foreign suppliers from the beginning.With the advancement of national medical reforming,TY Company has also accelerated the process of localization,more and more local Chinese suppliers to be introduced into the company’s supply system,so the quality of these suppliers also determines the quality of TY company’s products.Based on the background of medical device industry and the supplier quality of TY Company,this research classified and studied the defect data of incoming inspection from suppliers,this research analyzed the causes of the defects by using fish-bone diagram and5 WHY tool,put forward the deficiencies of TY Company’s internal process,and then took out the corresponding improvement actions,in particular,TY Company internal supplier evaluation,supplier selection,new products and transfer product production preparation as well as the comprehensive optimization of other aspects,so as to promote the continuous improvement of supply quality and the supplier’s own manufacturing and control capability.Based on the study of TY Company’s supplier quality,this research got the conclusion that how to continuously improve supplier quality by improving the process of supplier selection,evaluation,development,supplier quality plan,monitoring,etc.,looking forward to providing reference for industry practitioners. |
