| Company D is a manufacturer of bearings and compressor components,mainly targeting the domestic market in China,providing safe and efficient products.With the continuous changes in the external environment,the original incremental market has gradually shifted to a stock market,with the fierce competition increasing in the industry and customer requirements increasing.In order to cope with the current competitive environment and maintain a leading edge in the industry,the management of Company D formulated a strategy to shift from focusing on production in the past to product quality,reducing internal costs of poor quality,resolving quality management issues,and improving product quality.This article is mainly based on the method of Lean Six Sigma,D Company is the research object,describes the research background,purpose,and significance in detail.It summarizes the research status of Lean Six Sigma at home and abroad,determines the research content and technical route of this article,and introduces the research methods and innovation points of this article.After that,the theoretical basis of this article is elaborated,including the production background and content & characteristics of quality management theory,lean production theory,and six sigma theory.At the same time,the similarities and differences between lean production and six sigma are compared and summarized,and the common tools for lean six sigma are summarized.This article mainly researches on the quality management of bearing products in Company D,first of all,a brief overview of Company D and its bearing products is given.On the basis of analyzing the current situation of quality management and quality management issues of bearing products in Company D,pointing out the feasibility and necessity of implementing Lean Six Sigma management,the production process and process conditions are improved according to the lean six sigma DMAIC cycle process,combining lean concepts and lean tools so as to improve product quality and reduce rework and scrap which caused by defective products,finally maximizing the economic benefits of the company.During the definition stage of DMAIC,the classification of major nonconformities of bearing products of Company D is calculated through Pareto diagram,and the nonconformities with the highest proportion of bearing surface roughness exceeding the tolerance are identified.Then,SIPOC analysis is conducted to determine the main research direction,formulate project objectives and plans,and establish a project team;During the measurement phase,all possible influencing factors of quality issues are identified through measurement system analysis,process capability analysis,and fishbone diagram analysis;In the analysis stage,methods such as causal analysis matrix and process failure mode and impact analysis are used to determine key influencing factors and improvement directions;In the improvement stage,for the key factors which affect product quality,first improve quickly based on the results of failure mode and effects analysis,and then find out the optimal process parameters for the bearing product during the finishing process through experimental design,improve the processing quality,implement improvement plans,and evaluate the effectiveness of the results;In the control stage,long-term control measures for product quality are proposed,including quality control plans,standardization,personnel training,and the use of statistical process control to solidify improvement results.The main data analysis and statistical charts in this article are mainly drawn and implemented by using the Minitab software tool.By improving the quality of bearing products,Company D reduced customer complaints,internal scrap and rework,thereby reduced the cost of poor quality and improved corporate efficiency.This not only proves the feasibility of applying Lean Six Sigma in Company D,but also provides a certain reference value for other manufacturing enterprises with improvement needs in implementing Lean Six Sigma. |
