Based On The Lean Six Sigma Of Bpi Product Quality Improving Research

Automobile parts manufacturing is one of important parts of the whole automobile manufacturing industry.Also brake part as the vital component is used in brake system,which attract most famous manufactories invest this area in sale market.Learning and studying how to improve quality in manufacture process,can not only promote quality and product rank,but also perform strategy and accelerate plant reform.Lean six sigma has absorbed the advantages of lean production and six sigma management,made up for the deficiencies in each management idea,and made the enterprise production control achieve the best management effect,which is considered as one of the most advanced management methods at present.The thesis is studied on brake pad quality improving by Brake Parts Inc(BPI).Coming along with collecting and learning a lot of theoretical knowledge of quality management and the application of related literature,we summarize and research some technology in plant practise.Taking plant current quality issue and cause analysis as first,we are doing quality improve design and making previous preparation for inputting quality improve.The purpose is to form harmonious environment.Second,this research takes two typical product quality defects as being entry point to give people a prefect presentation with method of DMAIC+ trial product.At last,effect valuation and successful elements summary are necessary to consolidate and popularize these improving achievement.We hope that this successful case of quality management theory combined with practice can help BPI plant to catch the historic opportunity of transition of old and new energy and find a new development path for enterprise to reform and upgrade.Meanwhile,it is hoped to provide a new idea and reference for other auto parts enterprises,especially brake pad manufacturers.
