| With the increasingly fierce competition in international engineering market,knowledge has become an important source of competitive advantage for international contractors.Knowledge plays its role only when it is applied.A large amount of knowledge in construction enterprises can be reused.For international engineering,it is important to accumulate and reuse knowledge related to the host country to improve work efficiency and project performance.However,the efficiency of cross-project knowledge reuse in international engineering is low,and there is a lack of effective cross-project knowledge reuse mechanism to stimulate project learning and knowledge reuse.How to promote cross-project knowledge reuse is an urgent problem.Factors affecting the cross-project knowledge reuse in international engineering are investigated.Then the static and dynamic mechanism of the factors are discussed.This study will enrich the relevant theories of knowledge reuse and broaden the research in the field of knowledge management in international engineering.Finally,strategies are put forward so as to promote the knowledge reuse of the project team and improve the knowledge level of the project team.By reading and sorting literature,the research object and scope of this paper are defined.The SECI model and information adoption model are investigated to lay a foundation for this research.Through literature research and expert interview,8 important factors are identified from the perspective of similarity between project situations,organizational characteristics,knowledge characteristics from other projects,relationship between project teams and internal characteristics of project teams.Factors are similarity of project content,similarity of project environment,learning mechanism,knowledge integrity,knowledge tacitness,knowledge distance between project teams,cultural distance between project teams and knowledge absorption.On this basis,hypothetical relationship between these factors is proposed,and the conceptual model of the impact mechanism of cross-project knowledge reuse in international engineering is constructed.Then SEM is constructed to test the proposed hypothesis relationship.After that,the FCM model based on SEM is constructed to explore dynamic influence of factors on the effect of knowledge reuse.Results show that knowledge tacitness and knowledge distance between project teams have a negative impact on knowledge absorption.Learning mechnism has a positive impact on knowledge absorption.Knowledge absorption,similarity of project content and knowledge integrity have a positive impact on the effect of knowledge reuse.Learning mechanism is at the center and is the most important factor.As an intermediary variable,knowledge absorption is also a very important factor.According to above analysis results,suggestions are put forwared from two aspects of project team and organization to improve the effect of cross-project knowledge reuse in international engineering.The research results of this paper promote the research in the field of knowledge management in international engineering.At the theoretical level,it broadens the research field of cross-project knowledge reuse in international engineering,improves the research depth,and enriches international engineering knowledge management system.At the practical level,reasonable suggestions are put forward to improve the effect of cross-project knowledge reuse in international engineering. |
