| Traditional Chinese architecture is an important historical relic in architectural culture.Among them,the inheritance of traditional architectural culture represented by Chinese residential houses and the collision of modern architectural design have long attracted the attention of Chinese architecture circles.On the one hand,with the continuous development of modern building technology and architectural design theory,the traditional Chinese architectural space construction system has been impacted,and traditional construction methods have been gradually replaced.On the other hand,the spatial composition,layout and corresponding building construction methods used in the construction of traditional residential buildings can still play a guiding and reference role in the architectural design of contemporary Chinese characteristics.This research attempts to integrate the methods of traditional building shapes and space generation into the digital construction system.Using traditional residential buildings in Nanjing as a data sample,the spatial layout and shape generation methods are regularized,and a rule-based procedural model is constructed.It aims to provide a method of program modeling combined with traditional spatial layout methods for the field of generative design.The research is based on the residential data in Nanjing area,and integrates and quantifies the elements that affect the spatial layout and building form,so as to establish a data structure that conforms to the traditional spatial form modeling.The whole research process is based on the Java programming of the Intelli J IDEA platform.After receiving the plot data and related natural and design parameters,the programming model can generate a building conforming to the traditional spatial layout.In the end,specific real plots are used for inspection,and on this basis,the generation of regular traditional building spaces is explored. |
