Research On Campus Planning And Architectural Design Of Residential College In Taiwan’s Colleges And Universities That Implement The College System

"College system" has become a new focus of higher education development in recent years.Since 2008,universities in Taiwan,led by Tunghai University,National Tsing Hua University and National Chengchi University,have been exploring the practice of the "College system" education management model.According to the existing literature,the number of universities in Taiwan that implement the college system is increasing.As of 2021,there are 26 universities in Taiwan that implement the "College system" education management model.However,in the field of architecture,there are many gaps in the research on the "Ccademy system" in Taiwan.Therefore,this paper idea of this paper took the representative and comprehensive "College system" colleges and universities in Taiwan as the research object.From their campus planning and architectural design of residential college,the design points of the college system in Taiwan were analyzed.This paper conducted field research on the colleges and universities that implement the college system in Taiwan,and selected four colleges and universities: National Tsing Hua University,National Chengchi University,Tunghai University,and Dharma Drum Institute of Liberal Arts.This paper attempted to analyze the campus planning and architectural design of residential college,and finally summarized the characteristics of colleges and universities in Taiwan,so as to provide a reference for future colleges and universities.This paper mainly discusses the following four aspects:The first part is the first chapter: through the discussion of the motivation of the research,the significance of the topic selection and the current situation of the relevant research,it was necessary to study the academy system in Taiwan,and proposed the content and method of this research,and establishes the research framework;The second part is the second chapter: analyzing the origin and educational philosophy of the college system and the impact of the college system on campus space,and the related overview of the college system in Taiwan,which became the research basis for the following analysis;The third part is the third and fourth chapters: The article investigated four colleges and universities in Taiwan,which are comprehensive and representative.On the basis of this research,the article analyzed the campus planning and architectural design of residential college in Taiwan’s colleges and universities that implement the college system;The fourth part is the fifth chapter: on the basis of the previous research,the main points of the campus planning and architectural design of residential college in Taiwan’s colleges and universities that implement the college system were summarized from three aspects: general layout,architectural model,and space design.
