The integration of the three religions means that the statues of the ancestors of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism are consecrated in a temple at the same time.Such a temple is called Three-religion-hall,also known as the three religions temple.Among them,Buddhism Sakyamuni is in the middle,Taoism Laozi is on the right, and Confucianism Confucius is on the left.Since Buddhism entered China,it has become an important part of Chinese traditional culture together with Confucianism and Taoism. It has gradually infiltrated into the political system and was recognized by the royal family. Thus, the coexistence of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism has gradually formed. In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the competition among the three religions became more and more fierce, and celebrities from all over the world joined in the debate, and the disputes were endless.During the Tang and Song Dynasties, the three religions developed unprecedentedly and prospered,so the exchanges among the three religions became more and more intensive. At this time,it seems that the three religions are competing against each other, but at the same time,it provides a great opportunity for the integration of the three religions.By the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the integration of three religions had become a common practice. This thesis takes Three-religion-hall in the southeast of Shanxi Province as the research object. The southeast of Shanxi Province includes Changzhi and Jincheng, which were called Shangdang in ancient times.Southeast Shanxi is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, between Taihang Mountain and Taiyue Mountain, and the Zhanghe River and Qinhe river basins cross it.As one of the earliest birthplaces of Chinese civilization,it has been pregnant with rich history and myths since ancient times, and social and cultural activities are particularly developed. At present, there are a large number of three church buildings left in the southeast of Shanxi Province. However, there is no research on the three church buildings in the southeast of Shanxi Province combined with its local folk activities.First of all,by consulting the literature, the author summarizes the historical development process of the integration of three religions and summarizes the different characteristics of the integration of three religions in different times. Then, starting from the overall construction layout of the Three-religion-hall,the regional environmental characteristics and overall style and features of the Three-religion-hall are analyzed, and the folklore method is used to observe the types and development of folk activities in the Three-religion-hall,analyze the close relationship between folk activities and architectural space, and summarize that the Three-religion-hall have dual characteristics of secular and religious, but mainly secular,And compared with the typical representative of the Three Religions in One thought-the scientific instrument program of the Three Religions, the similarities and differences between folk activities and religious activities are obtained; Then Three-religion-hall are compared with the Buddhist temples and Taoist temples in the same region, and it is concluded that the Buddhist temples and Taoist temples are more religious, especially in the main hall where gods are worshipped, the mysterious and authoritative atmosphere of religion is played up to the extreme, but the stage also appears in the Buddhist temples and Taoist temples, reflecting an obvious secular trend. Finally, from the architectural characteristics of the Three-religion-hall,the characteristics of individual buildings are obtained, and the decorative art characteristics of the Three-religion-hall are summarized.
