| In September 2020,China officially proposed the goals of "carbon peak" by 2030 and "carbon neutrality" by 2060.In this round of huge energy transformation,virtual power plants will play an important role in the energy revolution.In January 2022,the National Development and Reform Commission’s "14th Five-Year Plan for Modern Energy System" clearly proposed to carry out various types of resource aggregation virtual power plant demonstrations,such as Big data,cloud computing,Internet of Things,artificial intelligence,5G communication.Subsequently,various regions also issued relevant policies,which means the opening of the trillion market for virtual power plant,and also puts forward new requirements and opportunities for energy enterprises,especially power enterprises.As a subsidiary of an energy giant,A company faces the current situation of immature business model for the emerging virtual power plant business,and urgently needs to propose new business model and strategy research.Therefore,this paper uses a variety of methods,based on the nine elements of business model,to sort out and improve A company’s virtual power plant business as the research target,and then combines SWOT analysis method to analyze its present and future,discusses its future prospects and possible challenges,proposes improvement measures for its shortcomings,and puts forward development suggestions and strategy research for A company’s virtual power plant business.Firstly,based on the research of many domestic and foreign scholars,this paper summarizes the technical development and business model of virtual power plant.It comprehensively analyzes its history,definition,development and business model.It also sorts out the development status of virtual power plant in different regions,reviews the challenges and opportunities,policies and regulations and various types of applications of virtual power plant.Secondly,this paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the VPP business.It uses PEST analysis method to analyze the macro environment of Company A’s virtual power plant business from four aspects:politics,economy,society and technology.It also focuses on the development strategy,relevant planning and fiscal policies of virtual power plant,and views the impact of virtual power plant on the environment and the future from a higher perspective.It also uses SWOT analysis tool to analyze and study Company A’s virtual power plant business from four perspectives:strengths,weaknesses,threats and opportunities.It uses the business canvas to systematically sort out and describe the business model of Company A’s virtual power plant business through various elements such as value proposition,target group,customer relationship,cost structure and profit model.It also points out the shortcomings of Company A’s virtual power plant business model according to the actual situation.It explores the future development of the business model and discusses its advantages and limitations..Finally,it proposes corresponding improvement strategies and guarantee measures for the above problems.This paper verifies and evaluates them from both theoretical and practical aspects.They include a benefit distribution scheme based on nucleolus method and its practicability test,a pricing strategy scheme considering uncertainty,and improvement schemes in terms of resource aggregation,service quality,customer relationship,cost control and so on.In terms of guarantee measures,it discusses the implementation guarantee of Company A’s virtual power plant business model from five aspects:technical guarantee,customer guarantee,regulatory guarantee,financing guarantee and operation guarantee.It also puts forward some specific measures and suggestions.In summary,this article provides insights into the opportunities and challenges of A company’s business model from the perspectives of policies,markets,and other aspects,and analyzes various aspects of its business model.Through this research,it attempts to accelerate the integration and construction of A company’s virtual power plant business and outline the company’s future development strategy and blueprint,trying to provide new ideas and research paths for virtual power plant businesses in China and other regions. |
