With the acceleration of China’s urbanization process and the gradual establishment of the national space planning system,it is evident that the traditional protection limited to the cultural relics and the surrounding spatial environment can no longer meet the needs of trans-regional overall heritage protection. As a new type of heritage, cultural routes combine the distribution of cultural relics along the routes from the perspective of regional culture. The comprehensive thinking mode of heritage protection provides a new method and broader thinking for our cultural heritage protection. The cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March have distinct characteristics and common value connotations.Still, there are severe problems in comprehensive protection and utilization, such as the balance of cultural relics protection, regional connectivity, and flexibility of display and utilization.Taking the revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March as the research object, this paper is of great significance to the overall protection of revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March from the perspective of regional cultural routes.Based on the analysis of the typical characteristics and constituent elements of the cultural route, combined with the value characteristics and authenticity integrity analysis of the Long March route and revolutionary cultural relics, the integration characteristics of the natural and cultural landscape, material heritage, and intangible spiritual culture along Gansu section of the Long March revolutionary cultural relics are explored, and the integrated and spatial characteristics of the revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March are proposed.Based on the regional background environment, the number, type, management, preservation, display and utilization of the revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March were sorted out and analyzed through field investigation, and the current problems in ontology protection, the promotion and dissemination of the Long March spirit and the activation and utilization strategies were expounded.By using the spatial distribution data of revolutionary cultural relics along the route,Arc GIS kernel density analysis, spatial correlation analysis and transportation network analysis, and AHP,the overall value of heritage was determined. On this basis, value superposition analysis was carried out to support the overall protection of revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March. The research shows that: Firstly, the revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March show the characteristics of agglomeration in the overall spatial distribution, and the cultural relics are relatively concentrated in the region, which can be divided into four overall value protection areas: Longdong,Longzhong,Longnan, and Gannan. The single protection mode of heritage can be improved through differentiated protection and spatial activation utilization strategies.Secondly, the revolutionary cultural relics distributed in the overall value protection areas are connected through the transportation network with national and provincial roads as the main body and county roads and township roads as branches, which can realize convenient connectivity, thus building the modern experience of re-walking the Long March line. Finally, through the construction of holistic protection methods, the revolutionary cultural relics(points)along the route are combined with the Long March experience route(lines)and the holistic value protection area(surfaces)to break through the hierarchical structure existing among various cultural relics points and form correlations and realize the systematic and three-dimensional protection system of the Long March revolutionary cultural relics from micro, medium, and macro. The innovation of this paper lines in putting forward the cultural route attributes of the revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March, forming a systematic understanding on the whole level, and preliminarily constructing an overall protection system of the revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March through spatial analysis and value superposition. The strategies for the protection, display and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics in Gansu section of the Long March were optimized from three dimensions: cultural heritage space, the promotion and dissemination of the Long March spirit, and diversified, integrated protection, management, and utilization. |
